Things to do in West End
Local/American with Caribbean flair. The freshest local seafood available. Come see us for Happy Hour 4-6 daily with dinner and drink specials daily. Kayak rentals and snorkeling rentals just 100 yards off the beach.
Now this place is a diamond in the rough. An old Caribbean beach bar with an at home feel. The staff make you feel comfortable and the vibe is just cool. Volleyball, kayacks, fishing, cool dock and great food. My kids had a blast jumping off the dock and swimming with the local kids and playing soccer and volleyball. The food is terrific. Island style, authentic and amazing Conch ballas and ohhhh the ceviche. Fresh, tastey and just done right.I recommend to anyone visiting the Bay Islands to stop in and visit this little gem and have a real Roatan experience.
Blue RestoBar is a restaurant where we serve some of the best finger food, tapas and appetizers on the Island. We have a varaity of appetizers to please everyones taste. We have ceviches with the freshest local seafood and vegetables. We have wings, nacho
So much fun, excellent drinks and service and great prices! Johnny gave us a great tour. Itâs a few doors down from the chocolate factory. We will definitely recommend this bar to others.
Las casas de las charamillas
Cheesy, deafeningly loud "club" that plays music you've heard on the radio a million times. I'm not sure why anyone would go there; judging by the small crowd, no one else does either.I don't mean to hate on a small business, but if you're trying to attract tourists, why not give them something authentic, local and fun rather than trying to replicate the same dumb bar experience you can find in any North American city?

Located on the beautiful island of Roatan, The Beach Club offers the best beach experience in West Bay. Bring your family, friends or that special someone to enjoy wonderful days of sun, luxury, fine food and superb service.
We visited the Beach Club last weekend, most times we have been there it has been an enjoyable experience. However, last weekend I had the worse treatment at this establishment. We waited approximately 45mins to get our receipt in order to pay and leave. When we finally got the receipt, the bartender did not even have a pen to sign the credit card voucher! So we had to wait for her to find her pen, another person paying cash was given the wrong change so we had to wait even more to get his correct change. I asked to speak to a supervisor since this delayed had put us at a very uncomfortable time to get a water taxi or cab back to west end. I was hoping the would help us sort a transport back to west end. I was approached by a supervisor called Douglas, he was incredibly rude and condescending, he did not even apologized for our delayed and proceeded to tell me it was not his problem and he could not help us pay the cab or even sort a can for us. He even said we only waited 30mins instead of 45 as if that makes the situation better. This is a wonderful place in west bay but their customer service is awful and will never go back again. Mr Douglas should probably get trained on how to deal with customers too!

Went for a walk and found a little oasis of a cafe. Follow the signs right of the roundabout up the hill about a 2 minute walk and on The bayside is Cafe de Palo. Small and quaint cafe sitting on the Iron Shore overlooking the bay. Beautifully decorated with a relaxing vibe. Friendly staff and great views. Beautiful spot to chill and enjoy something to eat and a beverage of your choice.Thank you soo much. It was lovely having you!x

We recently visited Roatan and chef Donna was recommended to us if we would like to have a personal chef for our visit. We were a group of 14, so quite a crowd to cook for! We had her come our very first night so we would not have to worry about dinner....it was amazing! She and her sister cooked a delicious meal and we even hired them to come back another night!! The food was great, and they took care of all the details. It was reasonably priced as well! Would highly recommend to anyone going to Roatan!!!Thank you all for inviting me in to your privet vocation rental home, It was very nice meeting all of you, hope to see you all again God bless.

Palapa Papa's is located towards the end of West End and we are located right over the water. We serve Lunch and dinner in our restaurant or on the beach. We enjoy our water sports or sit back and relax and watch our beautiful sunsets. Wednesday, Friday a
My husband and I stopped here a couple of times during our most recent visit to Roatan as they not only have one of the most beautiful locations to enjoy the sunset but they have the most phenomenal coconut shrimp I have ever tasted! Alex was absolutely phenomenal as he took care of us both times during our visit and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food that you receive.

This restaurant is truly a hidden, secluded gem right on the beach. We have enjoyed sunset dinners there each of the last two years and the evening could not have been more perfect. From the setting to the food to the freshly made, complimentary desserts, this place was perfect. Well at the end of the main drag, the Lobster Pot is somewhat difficult to find but well worth the adventure. The best tables are literally on the beach with your feet in sand as you sit slightly back from the water surrounded by palm trees. If you go at sunset, the secluded setting makes it seem like something out of a movie or a brochure for newlyweds - it truly is amazing. Both times we were there, we were alone at sunset. The food matches the environment. The fish is fresh and the vegetables are well cooked. The figurative icing on the cake is the complimentary homemade dessert - Key Lime pie for us.Well worth the trip and truly a hidden gem in West End.

We stopped and had breakfast here before a late morning dive. The coffee was excellent. My omelet was mediocre. The eggs had been cooked too long and browned. Overall it wasn't a bad place for breakfast and the coffee made up for it.

A warm friendly atmosphere will greet you at the Sunken Fish, we would like you to feel relaxed and enjoy your time with us. Rustic Honduran surroundings, spacious tables and the best ocean views, come and enjoy a sunset drink perhaps we can tempt you wit
My wife and I were surprised and exceedingly pleased to discover this little gem of a restaurant situated within the boutique Tranquilseas dive resort located in Sandy Bay. Tranquilseas resort itself is a beautiful property which is comprised of several room levels cascading gently down to the beach from the road, with funky island architecture built around lush tropical landscaping. The setting from the third level offers perfect views overlooking Sandy Bay's beautiful beach and water. The menu is varied with many native dishes available, and the food and drinks were allextremely tasty and reasonably priced. In fact, the best endorsement we can make is that we initially visited for lunch one day, only to return three more times during our one week stay in Roatan, including a special Friday night dinner where we were joined by Roatan natives who also came to enjoy the restaurant's ambience!Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!!
