Very busy, service is suspect, but they are friendly and it's a great people watching spot. I ordered the "sampler" pretty good. Shockingly, drink and food prices were reasonable.

My husband and I are divers so we came to Frenchy's to board our boat daily. The whole area there has a small zoo with different animals including lions, they have a harbor front restaurant with clean washrooms in the back, nice little gardens to walk through and a small ferry that takes you to Little French Key. There is plenty of shade to sit and watch all the activities.

Our tucan travel group loved our evening with Zac. He was a fantastic host. Ask him for a Zac attack cocktail sometime. It's like a lime, vodka and coconut explosion. The mashed potato and vegetables were delicious. Regrettably the fish was covered in a really strong sauce which obscured it's flavour. If you order catch of the day, consider asking for sauce on the side as it really is an acquired taste. I would have loved to have stayed on for chocolate cake but the Zac attack finished me off.

I loved swimming and snorkelling right there, the location is quiet and beautiful. The fresh lion fish was delicious! The ceviché was the best, and the fried fish was done perfectly. Iâm looking forward to coming back in November.

We enjoyed another lovely visit to Roátan and this seafront area. Our cheeseburger was delicious and the service was friendly and with a BIG smile. Donât waste your money on the restaurant Monkey La La 200 yards away with its tourist prices. Captain Jacks is right on the water with cold drinks and coconut shrimp and good prices with specials of the day. We will be back.

We visited Berties as part of a day tour on a cruise stop, requesting it in advance based on reviews. It was good enough, but not the fantastic fare we were expecting. My husband and I both ordered grouper, cooked in different ways. They use margarine not butter, so he asked for coconut milk sauce instead. Sides were fried plantain chips and rice and beans. I found the deep fried fish rather plain, as were the rice and beans, no special seasoning or sauce. Portion size is good. Price we found rather expensive for Roatan, probably because we were cruise passengers and not locals. Our tour guide ordered food that wasn't on any menu. The staff were friendly and the view of the water was great. The furniture consisted of plastic patio chairs and tables on the sand outside, so wear casual clothes. Restrooms are "rustic". It is located just outside the entrance to the port, which in hindsight is probably why we had just an average meal. It seems that others have had great meals here, but can't say that ours was.

My wife and I were surprised and exceedingly pleased to discover this little gem of a restaurant situated within the boutique Tranquilseas dive resort located in Sandy Bay. Tranquilseas resort itself is a beautiful property which is comprised of several room levels cascading gently down to the beach from the road, with funky island architecture built around lush tropical landscaping. The setting from the third level offers perfect views overlooking Sandy Bay's beautiful beach and water. The menu is varied with many native dishes available, and the food and drinks were allextremely tasty and reasonably priced. In fact, the best endorsement we can make is that we initially visited for lunch one day, only to return three more times during our one week stay in Roatan, including a special Friday night dinner where we were joined by Roatan natives who also came to enjoy the restaurant's ambience!Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!!

Signature Sushi and Creative mix of Caribbean & Asian Curated Cuisine set in a comfortable relaxing, yet uniquely upscale restaurant setting.
Bambuu came highly recommend by our hosts and the recommendation was well deserved. We had dinner starting with a couple of excellent cocktails and since the nightly special was $10 for any sushi rolls, we had two The rolls were excellent - a caribe touch on some of the classic "americanized" sushi rolls. A roll a piece was more than enough for the two of us. Bambuu is a pleasant change from the typical Bay Island cuisinge. The restaurant is a bit more upscale in ambiance plus it is air conditioned. Highly recommended for a pleasant evening.

The lobster was suggested and did not disappoint. Right on the water the sunset was gorgeous. Hubby had bbq and was good, considering we are midwestern people who love good bbq, this was not bad for an island. Will be returning.

Carribean style food, succulent basil butter lobster specialties, Rated # 1Key lime pie, Natural tropical drinks, Dining with parrots, True Carribean athmosphere...
Celesteâs is a short walk from Infinity Bay. Nice ambiance, great service, and the best meal we had during our stay in the West Bay. To make things even sweeter, the bill was cheaper than any other dinner we had in Roatan. I was a little bummed that I couldnât try the 3 cheese lobster dip for an appetizer, but not lobster season. The ceviche was an excellent substitute. It was cool to finally try a baleada which is kinda like a Honduran burrito. My wife said the ravioli was delicious.
