Had a lovely dinner here last week. The food was excellent and I do recommend that you leave enough room for a dessert - the millefeuille was the best! Good, friendly, professional service and a lovely location on the lake. I hope to return one day.

We came here for dinner because we read the menu out front, and the food was even better than it sounded. We started with the Antipasto di mare della Pagul, and it was all incredibly delicious... but the way the local trout was prepared made it unforgettable. My wife had the Spaghettini all' astice (incredibly delicious) and I had the Costata di Angus alla sau (wonderfully prepared), so we had a dilemma on which wine to choose. The owner, an extremely friendly and wonderful person, recommended a Lacrima Di Morro D'Alba as a neutral way out of our predicament, and she was absolutely right! We can't wait to go back to Mergozzo, and this will definitely be a regular place to eat each time we do.

Having read the trip advisor reviews we were a little hesitant about going here. However I can totally recommend. We had the smoked salmon starter to share and then the veal chop which was cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly, the restaurant is buzzing and a nice change from the tourist menus. We had wine by the carafe which was great value.

We went for a wedding at lunch. Beautiful sorroundings with the pristine waters of the lake and a little village view. The food was very good. Appetizers with a good choice of cheese and ham delicacies and fried vegetables. Risotto done in an enourmous pan was delicious and the fassona meat incredible. Also the millefoglie dessert with raspberries was excellent. Great food in a wonderful secluded location.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal here with our Italian friends. Our friend is an award winning Italian chef and he chose this restaurant as its one of his favorites. The menu is varied with a lots of choices, all excellent. It is easy to get to by bus or car as its right on a main road but certainly not noisy. To star I had a bean and pasta soup and then the home made canneloni which were both wonderful. To finish I had an apple tart with ice cream which was absolutely melt in your mouth. Would definitely put this establishment on our regular visit list!

Great food, a fantastic view of the lake, fast service and a great ambiance! Luca, the owner, treats every guest as if he knows them for years and makes sure everyone feels right a home. Definently the best restaurant you can find in feriolo!

What a magical setting looking straight down on the swans paddling Lake Maggiore, and the local church tower of the village of Feriolo di Baveno. Seafood Ravioli, Cesar salad with chicken were delicious. We purposely saved room for dessert, a bigne (cream puff) topped with blackberry coulis, and a fine tiramisu. Prices were very reasonable (4 Euros for glass o house wine and our service was very attentive. (Since we )were there early by Italian standards (7:15) on a Tuesday night, there was no wait for a lakefront table. Waiters spoke some English.)

Dear Guests, the starting idea of this restaurant embodies one of the themes from the popular movie Amelie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain) directed by Jean Pierre Jeunet in 2001, that is to keep a curious eye on the world and take pleasure in the sim
This is a delightful, small (~8 tables) restaurant that is well off the beaten track, but well worth the trek. Glorious food, attentive, efficient, multi-lingual and friendly service. The chef takes pride in periodically coming front-of-house to greet the diners. If you are fastidious or constrained in what you eat then I suggest you check the menu before entering, as it is very limited. Happily, my wife and I are unpretentious and are adventurous when it comes to tasty, well prepared and presented food. We had no problems meeting our desires from the menu (including veal tartare, seafood ravioli, monkfish, tuna, cheesecake, panna-cotta).We were happy to pay ~170â¬; for a starter, a first course, two mains and two deserts, washed down with a bottle of reasonably priced champagne. There is a 5⬠p.p. cover charge, but you do get a bread basket that is varied, âmore-ishâ and abundant. If it is within your budget, DO NOT pass this charming restaurant by.
