Things to do in Weiden
Let me cut to the chase here. This was an amazing find here in Weiden. Realizing that they just opened , they exceeded expectations of many well established locations. They accommodated us as walk-ins, The bilingual staff was friendly and professional with great service. Food was exceptional! Varied menu with Middle Eastern dishes and they easily accommodate vegetarians This is now a "go -to" place for us. Check it out...you won't be disappointed.

This place is always crowded with locals which should speak for itself. We visited in February and found the restaurant to be very clean and friendly. They have seating at the window or at tables. They serve pizza, pasta, and desserts. They have a nice wine selection as well. We tried several items. The Pizzabrot Bruschetta was one of my favorite appetizers. It is a pizza crust with lovely tomatoes on top! Wonderful. Large enough for two to share as an appetizer. The Pizza 4 Formaggi is exceptionally good. Pizza Hawaii was also very good with lots of pineapple which is important to me. Finally, we also tried the 4 piece Bruschetta which was just lovely. The prices are very reasonable. They do not have a children's menu but there is plenty for children to enjoy on the menu. I recommend this place for lunch or dinner. They have a FB page as well as a web site.

Invited here one evening by a company I was visiting, I was told it was the "new" place in town. Maybe I had expected too much of theis description. The place seemed popular, with lots of guests and a rather overworked and strained service, even they were both helpful and accommodating in the midst of a clearly very busy evening. We orderes som different antipasti to share as starters, and they were quite OK, maybe a bit too liberal on the olive oil, but fairly fresh and tasty.I got hold of the wine list, and tried to order som whites and redts to share. Unfortunately both my first and second choises of red and white were sold out - this is not a good indication of a sommelier on top of the situation. All in all we ended up with some rather mediocre wines - and no discount or offer of similar or better wines (they were maybe unavailable as well). As main course I chose the Fritto Misto, which normally would be small fish, small octopus and calamari, with an odd scamp or other crustacean thown in. I'm aware that this would not be fresh catch, not even in Italy, and that is OK.But this was small cubes of salmon, rubbery rings of calamari and some large shrimps fried to death - and everything - especially the salmon was far too salty.Fritto Misto deconstructed - but not succesful in any way.I looked in envy of the pizza some of the other guests had gotten.Even on a busy evening those glitches should not happen. I end with an average score, only owe to the fair starters and a waiter struggling very hard to serve us.

Very beautiful restaurant and an excellent place for Sunday brunch! Very nice atmosphere with the windows overlooking the park. Make sure you arrive early as the place can fill up quickly. Great service and excellent food! I cant wait until I can try the restaurant out for dinner.

The food tasted great and the atmosphere is good. But I think the food was overpriced for what was served. My husband ordered a duck dish which cost 15-20 euros(?) and we were both shocked that there was only 4 or 5 thin, small slices of duck breast on the plate and a tiny salad. For the price, we expected more of course. This was enough to make my husband not want to return again. But as we've only been here once, I'll probably give it another go, but just keep an eye out for portion size.

Sunday evening dinner with the family. They had a high chair (which was clean!!!) and small silverware for the kids and also offered smaller portions for the children as well.Great menu options and all in English. The staff was very welcoming, attentive, and professional. I really liked it here. The pizza (cheese) was alright. Wasn't blown away by the taste. My lasagne was made to order (meatless) and other dish (spaghetti alfredo). The chef's rib eye special was great too, though we didn't care for the eggplant or zucchini (taste). Will gladly come back and/or order-to-go.

Went here on the back end of TripAdvisor reviews and wasn't disappointed, ordered the doppeldecker pizza which looked like a cheese and tomato pizza but underneath was a hidden layer of ham, chilli's and onions etc and was huge(bigger than the plate) and all for 7 euros. Sat outside in the sun and really enjoyed the place, only small place but you can see its popular, slightly away from the center of weiden but well worth the visit.
