This morning We walked around Lake Schliersee, it was a beautiful day and the snow covered terrain gave every thing that magical feel A lovely walk , nice and flat so easy to do.It is about 7 kilometres , terrific scenery looking at the mountains all around and then looking across the lake waters to Schliersee town.. lovely and quiet, only three or four walkers out in the snow but one can imagine that in the summer it would be busy .Must get busy on the water too as we passed quite a few boat sheds and near town there were dozens of small boats out of the water, I assume they were small hire boats.Half way through the walk we left the lake and ventured into the community of Neuhaus where we found SLYRS the distillery.We were very happy to find that they have a cafe and lunchery as we were looking for someplace to have lunch. It is upstairs which gives you a nice view over the snow covered mountains nearby.Quite busy for a Monday so it must be popular. The young lady on duty was friendly and soon offered me an English menu which was very helpful.It was the breakfast menu which goes to 1pm , there is also the luncheon menu .I had the grilled ham with cheese between very nice bread, some lettuce and little tomatoes came with it , I also had a side order of two lovely fried eggs, came out fairly quickly , was well presented and was delicious, it really filled the gap.This complex the distillery and all is quite smart and a nice place to eat .There is a local bus service that stops right near it and for tourists it is free so easy to get too if you donât have a vehicle.I have been wondering what do the letters SLYRS stand for .

Wir waren kürzlich zum Kaffee im Dürnbecker. Dazu folgende Bemerkungen : Kaffee schmeckt mega. An der Freundlichkeit gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich. Die Qualität der Speisen kann ich nur optisch bewerten, sieht aber frisch und gut aus.Und eines möchte ich nicht unerwähnt lassen : Im Gegensatz zu einigen anderen Lokalen für die sogenannte Promis ihren Namen hergeben, ist Frau Dietel offenbar nicht nur anwesend sondern arbeitet selbst mit.

After they woke up the village a few years ago while building very nice new houses and condos around the old monastery, this nice little Cafe is the perfect place for a coffee, light lunch or a great piece of cake. It's quiet and surrounded by a beautiful mix of old and new buildings. It's worth a break regardless if you just going between MUnich and the lakes or from northern parts of the country towards Austria or Italy. Just 3 min away from the autobahn exit Weyarn, but already miles away from traffic, tourism and stress. Enjoy it. Life is too short to rush.

Visited here a couple of times while on holiday in SchlierseeIt open's each evening at 5pm serving a wide range of beers, wines, gin's etc Although small - it is friendly and welcoming.

Marion ist eine absolut herzliche Gastgeberin und Essen und Getränke sehr gut.Nach einem kurzen, aber etwas steilen Anstieg (man kann aber auch mit dem Auto rauffahren - wenige Parkplätze) kann man den groÃartigen Blick drauÃen genieÃen. Immer wieder hat sie auch Musiker da, die zum Verbleiben einladen und den Tag genieÃen lassen.Ich finde es nur Schade, dass es an Kirta keine Ente gibt, alles andere ist bestens.

The dreaded German service- sorry to bother you with my customI happened to be there twice on the same day and had I not arranged to meet a very long friend in the vending in the restaurants there wouldnât have been enough horses around to pull me back in this placeI stopped there in the morning passing by for a quick breakfast in their downstairs bar- it was early (7.30) but full and great warm weatherNow queue discipline or control off whatsoever, no menus - you stood on the bar and if you knew what you wanted (and what hey had great) - ow ask for a menu- back in the queue .....After I ordered I was given my coffee and a time for my cooked breakfast- I was more than halfway through my coffe when this rang and faced the next problemYou guess it - back to the queue- (my seat was gönne by the time I came back - so donât go alone), same long queue - I could see my food waiting on the pass slowly getting cold....- there are three of four stations but none for people who collect their orders- and they are not served either - how weird is thatI was so pi.....ed off that I honestly do not remember hw the food and coffee was in the end - looking at the queues they ist get something right but........ never again - downstairs From the memo Ent you enter the restaurant/bar upstairs you enter a different world - when i was back there in the evening I was impressed with the food, drinks on offer and even the service - as well as the view out of the floor to ceiling windows.....I could now continue to describe dishes etc but I am still to annoyed with my morning experience - but we had a great evening upstairsAvoid the bar like the plagueIf you have to go use the restaurant (itâs busy even midweek - might need to book - my friend did)Hello cramorra,thank you for your feedback !We are sorry that you were disappointed by our espressobar downstairs.Everything is selfservice there and most of the people decide from the food in the show case.If you want to order a full breakfast menu, we recommend our restaurant upstairs.Moreover we are very sorry, that there was a missunderstanding about collecting your order. We really enjoyed both of our visits to gluckSeeling. This restaurant offers all vegetarian dishes with over a third of them vegan. There were two of us eating, one vegan and the other eats veg and non-veg. We both thoroughly enjoyed are meals here. They do a flat bread that is typical of the area with different toppings. These are really good and worth trying. The buffet dishes that we tried - bolognese and tikka masala were both excellent. The people who run this place were really pleasant to deal with, and the food is very reasonably priced. I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.
