Innovatively conceived and exquisitely prepared dishes from the all-star team of Michael Reis. Service is both top-notch and friendly. Many fantastic "GrüÃen aus der Küche" that are as much works of art as they are culinary delights. Absolutely worth the trip out to scenic Waldkirchen.

The Innsteg is right by the Inn river ( before it meets up with the Danube), with tables outside on the patio area with great views overlooking the embankment and river. There is also a conservatory type area and the main restaurant itself with lovely views from many of the tables.We went early on a Sunday evening because we hadn't booked - the staff can speak English and were really efficient, friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was superb (we had zucchini schnitzel and schweineschnitzel) and they have a good wine list and all reasonably priced. Very pleasant experience.

A cosy place, friendly professional service also in English, friendly customers (a family changed into a smaller table to give us room), good food (but no gourmet), verstaile menu. We had a nice evening! Besides, the address Rosengasse is a perfect address for everybody who has read Onneli ja Anneli, a well known Finnish childrens book, now also in a film. A perfect address even if the real address, the side of the door of the cafe, was Grabengasse...

We stumbled into the Kowalski after a long bike ride down the Donau. We found the place buzzing with locals and a very friendly staff that were happy to wait while we attempted to speak German. The coffee was excellent and the pastries were old world and fresh. The wifi was strong and made it possible to send emails and upload photos to Facebook!

We stopped in for a drink and ended up staying for dinner. Cool and trendy inside and a beautiful garden, where we sat for dinner. Excellent wine list. Friendly service and great food. The iberico pork chop was delicious. All the choices are imaginative and contain the freshest ingredients (we saw them bringing in the mushrooms at 5:30pm). There are many good restaurants in this small town, this is an excellent one!
