Waren heute mit einer Gruppe von 40 Leuten da.Der Wirt hat dann eine Portion zu viel aus der Küche gebracht; bisher alles nichts Besonderes und in jedem Lokal schon mal passiert. Nur dann hat der Wirt einfach mal die Gruppe angepöbelt, dass wir nicht bestellen können. Das ist schon ein starkes Stück. Auch danach versuchte er einzelne Personen aus unserer Gruppe zu provozieren und hat auch ignoriert, als manche bezahlen wollten. Also, wer sich gerne anpöbeln lässt und dafür auch noch bezahlt, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

We were stuck in Vilshofen as our river boat could not proceed down the Danube due to low water. So we decided to make the best of it and explore this little town. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very nice cobble stoned village. We stopped at this gastric for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by fair prices, generous portions and very tasty local foods. The house plate was outstanding as was the specialty schnitzel. All of the sausages were fresh and had good flavor. Best of all the beer was also very good. Service was also outstanding as everyone pitched in to serve our group of 22.

Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker und es gibt neben Klassikern auch besondere Gerichte und saisonale Gerichte.Ein Punkt Abzug, da der Preis relativ hoch ist für die Lage und die Aussicht auf das Bad.

Enjoyed a family dinner. Schnitzels and salads were great! Leberspaetzle soups was very nice. Excellent service and not badly priced! The inside has a great look, little bit different and adds to the ambience.
