We often use the Kammerer Brau when in Bad Reichenhall. We really enjoy the food. The only reason I have not rated this as excellent is that there is often only one member of staff serving and whilst they are very good you can often have to wait a while to be served

Big rooms, big tables, servers dressed in traditional cloth. Special good beer that you can only have in taverns, meaning you cannot find them in retail shops are they are 'freshly made'.Food is typical of the area with a wide choice of meat and some fish. It was fine for one visit.

Visiting Bad Reichenhall and its lovely local mountain Predigstuhl, we thought we'd missed out the chance of again staying in the Gasthof Burgerbrau as I couldn't book it through Booking.com. A quick email to the hotel, and we were in! Again I was stunned by this lovely place. The staff as ever were friendly ( no Brexit here ) and helpful, the rooms spacious and super-clean and the location virtually unbeatable. This year we took two friends who were new to lovely Bavaria, including one who had never 'enjoyed' Germany but this trip did the trick; she loved this hotel as much as I did - this is my 4th stay - and it coloured her visit to Southern Germany positively.We're back from our trip now and I miss this gorgeous building, and it's caring staff. If you're ever visiting the gorgeous Bad Reichenhall - and scruffy UK towns have a lot to learn here - you'd do far worse than stay at the Burgerbrau, a jewel in the crown of this lovely town.

Have been taken here many times on coach parties, the food is terrible and the food and drinks are overpriced. In the village of Aufham the prices on other restaurants are normal but at the Neuwirt they are expensive. Drinks are 50% more than in other places. like an apple juice and tap water costs 3.30 compared with 2.40 in most other places. Yesterday the dish of the day was a small meat ball and watery instant mashed potato. The portions are small and you always go away hungry.. It is situated in the pretty village of Aufham but the address is Anger. The village has a Netto supermarket and an indoor swimming pool and several hotels and a lovely bakery. Nice walks around the village and it is close to the motorway from Salzburg to Munich and is close to the first exit in Germany [the motorway built in Hitler times has no hard shoulder but enabled Hitler to get to his retreat in Obersalzburg/Eagle's Nest]. The restaurant is closed Mondays.

had dinner from three bugers was on point, my burger was not very good, i can say the this was the first time that i had a not so good burger. so i will not throw them under the bus. and will go back.
