Everything seems right about this scenic restaurant: The view, the wood paneled interior and the food.I had the "Wuidererplattn" (poacher's platter), which turned out to be a very generous serving of various salamis, bread and lard, along with horse radish cream. Our daughter had the "Germknödel", a baked desert dumpling that came with the typical poppy seed and vanilla sauce. It was really, really good.

Last weekend we made a hike to this huette. First of all a great great hike, we also went to seekarkreuz and than the best is to have a rest in the huette.I can really recommend the Leberkase mit kartoln.... Super !!
Park your car close to the ropeway ground station. Then keep left and walk 30 to 40 minutes up the first part of the mountain. Youâll walk partly under the trees, partly close to the ski route - veeery nice. The restaurant is VERY bavarian style and quite simple (but absolutely clean!). They serve bavarian food and beverages. Very yummy and good quality, not too expensive. The service is very friendly. In winter, you can drive down to the ground station with you sled, using the walkway, not the ski route. But you have to bring it up we you, by yourself. VERY funny, especially in the dark, because there is a small creek running quite close to the walkway...Every day at 15:30, the deers (close to the house) will be fed. Closed on Monday.Go there, youâll not regret it!

Restaurant
We were there as a group as part of a company event. The restaurant employees were outright impolite to us - and to others as well as far as I can read from the other reviews. The sleeping rooms are kind of good enough for an overnight stay if you can sleep undisturbed by people snoring in the next room or floors creaking because someone just walked by the corridor or flushed the toilets. The rooms are really narrow and cramped up - expected at a mountain top I guess. You have to pay for a shower, even the water from tap if you want to fill up your bottle will be charged - beware.
Great spot for a rest after a long walk in the mountains. The food is hearty, portions generous and the service very friendly despite how busy they were.
