Steg 32 is truly an excellent restaurant from the quality of the food to the great service. Four of us enjoyed an outstanding meal at this restaurant and found that every one of our four different choices were delicious and well prepared. Portions were very generous as well so you may want to consider this before ordering a number of courses. Sharing is also a consideration. If you want a table by the window be sure to make this part of your reservation request in advance. Overall, Steg 32 is highly recommended.

The restaurant FISCHER, located at the beautiful Ammersee, will spoil you with all your senses. Whether in the stylish ambience of the restaurant, on one of our wooden terraces, in our beach area with view over the sea to the mountains and in winter in ou
All too often restaurants in idyllic settings are horrible tourist traps or plain. Not the Fischer who consistently not only offers very well prepared food ( not gourmet, but high end mid range, prices meet the high Munich standards) but also charming service. This has become our favored stop on the way from Munich to Lake Constance. Great also for kids as a playground and the Ammersee of course are right outside. Can be popular so do. call ahead to avoid disappointment. Dear wary_mecki,thank you for your kind words. We are looking forward to welcome you again and wish you happy easter!ppa. Heike Rosenberger

If you happen to drive along the western shore of the Lake Ammer near Munich, for instance on the way to visit the baroque church of Diessen, be sure to make a stop a few Kilometers before Diessen in Riederau. Here a true jewel is located directly by the water front overlooking the lake. The food is excellent, a choice of local and French food. The proprietor of the restaurant is a French cook. He already worked there under the former owner, Dr. Curry, a physician and gifted sailor. At that time the name of the restaurant was "Curry's Inn". As a left over from that period: You can come by sailing boat. With a draught of the boat of more than 1 meter, you will be picked up from the buoy if you call ahead.
