For what we experienced so far in German sushi restaurants, the food here is really good. Fresh ingredients, freshly prepared but to be honest this is nothing out of ordinary in countries were sushi is perhaps a bit more popular. That said, everything was tasty and the service is very friendly. The prices are acceptable, except for seaweed salad which is tiny. All in all a good sushi bar in Augsburg area.

We foolishly decided to walk from the centre of town, and it was really a bit far, especially as the journey was along two main roads.Upon arrival we were greeted well, and the service was reasonable in general, albeit that the staff were rather subdued. The food was pretty good, with somethings (especially the starters) being really superb. The only let-down was the dessert -- flambéed ice-cream, and cheap ice-cream at that (definitely not home made) -- not exactly authentic Japanese. It is all prepared in front of the diners, who sit in a semi-circle around a large steel hot-plate. Unlike may of these cook in front of you restaurants, I did not go home smelling of food (incredible considering the amount of garlic frying that was going on).The restaurant offers fixed-price menus, which as pretty good. They do, however, include dessert, so going "off-piste" may not be a bad idea. The decor of the restaurant was a little dated, and it could do with a re-furb as it's starting to look a little tatty. We enjoyed the meal all in, but as it's not cheap, it's not a must-go-to destination.

Yesterday i was in a really lovely place to get my most favorite dish sashimi. The location is called kurofune in Augsburg. And alone the story behind the name kurofune, the blackship is adorable. It means to get to know two cultures and mix the value of the synergy up to grow and become more colourful in my opinions. But read the historical fact story by yourself in the pictures below. And first have a look about this delicious menue I got there. It started with a summer drink of iced green tea and a plate of different kinds of starters. Mmhhh then it follows a kind of baked tofu. And then....the drums in my head got louder...the sashimi. I love sashimi endlessly and I'm really no easy costumer about high quality of sashimi. But is was like butter on the tongue...so soft and light and really delicious. It can't be better. The next was a kind of filled and fried dumplings. And the dessert was macha ice cream.the hole menue was a really incredible and I love the warm welcome and lovely service there. I highly recommend this Japanese restaurant in Augsburg. I will come back soon.
