This lovely restaurant has a really enticing and innovative menu. There are tasting menus as well as a la carte dishes. The mozzarella and prawn starter was sublime. So was the lamb. The service was very friendly and efficient. The meals took a while to come but Iâm not complaining as they were worth waiting for. The ambience was cosy and I strongly recommend this for a relaxing enjoyable meal.

After a few visits to Ebert it is time to sum up my impressions.The place is small, about 30 seats. Cozy atmosphere. When arriving you will be welcomed by Mr. Ebert himself. He used to be the Chef but decided to switch to be the Maitre and let others do the cooking. The menu is small like 2 starters, 2 intermediates, 2 mains and 2 desserts. So if you are picky do not go there. Be ready to eat something you might not been thinking of so far. This does not mean that they offer exotic dishes you never heard of. It is just that the choice is very limited. And I am sure they will take care of any allergies or special wishes. You can choose as many courses as you like and if you want 2 intermediates and 2 desserts that's just fine. Ebert lives ( no o on purpose) his place, he puts his heart into pleasing the guests. Food is always prepared on a high level and ingredients are from the region whenever possible. Chef is serving himself and gives explanations if needed or asked for. For pairing wine I recommend to follow the recommendations of Ebert. He might surprise you now and then and if not the quality is very good anyway.Pricing is fair. Expect 60-80⬠p.P. For getting high quality food, a charming, relaxed service and simply the feeling that you have been spending an evening with friends, this is reasonable.One should make a reservation.
