This little restaurant is built into the medieval city wall of Hilpoltstein. The family that runs the place is very friendly and they cook very well. Good food at a great value.

There is a variety of enchanting cakes on display. We chose the famous blackforest and apple strudel with coffee and were not disappointed. A nice cafe in the middle of town and one can sit and look out to the people walking up and down. A good place for afternoon tea!
