My coworker and I discovered Mamma Mia by its proximity to the conference center and were so glad we did. Located in a random Munich suburb, the cozy atmosphere embraced us the minute we walked in the door. The service was friendly and generous and the food consisted of yummy, high-quality Italian staples. We ordered two pizzas and a plate of pasta with bolognese - seemingly simple yet so delicious.

In my view the Italian over the highway is much better. I ordered veal and fried potatoes. Veal was that raw it could only have been in the pan go seconds was sent back for further cooking. Potatoes were cubed and fitted on a side plate. No ambience, overall a poor dining experience I won't be back

After reading some of the other reviews I was disappointed. Service was very efficient - you wouldn't say friendly.Was brought bread and bruschetta. Nice touch. Had a regular Paulaner and a Weissbier. Well kept beer - although a short measure!Salad was fresh. We both had lasagna al forno. Apart from my partner's being a bit burnt- it would be ideal for a vegetarian as didn't see much meat in it!!!It is very handy for the Ibis. But wouldn't rush back.

The restaurant may not have the ambience that you would want but the food more than compensates for that. The flavors and food presentation are what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. The service and ambience don't enhance the food but if you are looking for great food then visit Da Pino

We came here for dinner based on the comments on TripAdvisor. The location is in a family residence and you would not expect from the outside what you will be getting inside.We were not disappointed. The owner Claudio and his Chef are Italiens and operate the restaurant with passion. We had an excellent Prosecco Rose Valdo, as appetizers, warm goat cheese with red beets and Balsamico as well as a carpaccio from the wild boar. Both were very good. Main dishes were grilled octopus with olives, capers and mixed vegetables, veal in lemon sauce called Piccata lombarda, and Pizza Regina. All 3 were delicious! As dessert Mango lasagna and Mascarpone cream with strawberries and raspberries. As dish wine we had an excellent Vino Grechetto bianco! Overall quality absolutely top and moderate prices for this kind of quality! Definitely worth a visit.

Been going for years and they are very friendly to my family and guests. The food is excellent and the prices are what is expected. Try the Octopus Carpaccio. It's melts in your mouth.

If you ever find yourself in Vaterstetten (not that you would because it's definitely out of the way) and are looking for a good meal, this is the place for you. Authentic Italian including great appetizers, mains and desserts, this restaurant does a wonderful job of preparing and serving delicious food. Throw in a great wine list and now you have a definite reason to visit this part of Munich.

I have choosen this restaurant after checking the rates on tripadvisor and I could only confirm the great and tasteful Tagliolini with truffle and a good wine option. Easy accomodation if you are travelling through Munich.
