RegelmäÃig als Gast vor Ort. Preis/Leistung passt. Auch das Essen kann man gerne weiter empfehlen. Im Sommer kann bis 23 Uhr direkt auf dem Marktplatz verzehrt werden. Immer wieder gerne.
Best Crust Ever!! We had the family size hawaiian. It fed 4 adults with left over slices. Eat the pizza! It is fantastic. Also, there is no 10 Euro delivery (lieferservice) charge. They speak a little English and are great!

Three of us stopped for lunch. One of us knew the restaurant and raved about it. The dining area was large and nicely decorated. Tables were set with cloths, but paper napkins. We limited our choices to pizzas, soups and salads. Good that we did, as the soups, salads and pizzas were so large that none of us could finish any of them.I had the Pizza Gamberetti (9,90â¬) and split a 'small' Insalata Maria (6,60â¬) with my wife. The pizza was loaded with generous portions of rather large shrimp. It was a white pizza with all fresh ingredients. The same was true of the salad which was covered with a generous portion of cheese. The salad dressing was a home made balsamic cream and was exceptionally good. The other pizzas were the Rustica (8,50â¬) and the Duomo (9,90â¬). Both were abundantly covered with fresh toppings. We exchanged tastes and all were very pleased! Our third diner also had the Tortellini Brodo soup. Each of us wound up taking a large portion of pizza home with us. This food was just too good to leave on the plate. That evening we had leftovers. Even as leftovers, the Pizzas from Mamma Maria are better than most you will get in other restaurants. Our total bill for three of us was 47,60â¬. While the price was neither cheap nor exorbitant, the quality and and quantity made this one of the best dining values we have had in a long time.We give Trattoria Mamma Mia one of our rare 5-Point Ratings and an enthusiastic recommendation.

We ate here for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the food, atmosphere, and service. It sits right on the main traffic circle just outside the Amberg town wall, and does not look especially appealing on the outside, but once inside, the dining room is pleasantly decorated with table cloths on the tables and prompt, pleasant, english-speaking wait staff. We ordered a delicious tagliatelle and a unique mixed pasta dish with gnocchi, penne, ravioli, and others that was scrumptious. Very reasonable prices.

The outdoor tables have a great view of the pool complex. Both pasta and pizzas are delicious and the waitstaff is very friendly.

We went for the first time for dinner. They only have a weekly menu for food and they have many many drinks. Coffee, alcohol, alcohol free drinks. The service was great, very friendly, they spoke to us in english and they taught us many words in German, it was fun. The food was amazing, it was amazing. We had cream carrot soup (purple and orange) and spaghetti with red sauce.

Spent a week in Amberg eating at various places but by far L'Osteria was the best experience. Not only was the pizza excellent, the staff(Laura and Chrishane) was extremely professional and courteous. They recommended what was good and even taught me some German. The decor was very modern and very appealing. Would go back there in a heartbeat. KudosGrazie mille!

Robert's is awesome, with a beautiful setting and an equally beautiful (and tasty!) breakfast and cake menu. I recommend anything, but especially the wraps with the signature yellow dip sauce. Visit any time during the day to have a pick-me-up coffe or snack. They also do take aways, but you should really find the time to sit down for a minute or sixty.

The food was fantastic! The prices are great and the staff are polite and friendly. They also accepted credit cards which was a great relief since a lot of restaurants in Germany take cash only. The only negative was how long we had to wait for the waiter when wanting to order our food, drinks, and refills. The restaurant was almost empty yet we still ended up waiting long periods of time before the waiter came back to our table. Overall the experience was great though! I will definitely be returning!!!!
