The Braurestaurant IMLAUER is not only popular with guests from around the world. Locals are also very fond of this centrally located restaurant. The reasons for this popularity are of course the traditional cuisine, the atmosphere and the typical Austria
We stayed in the hotel attached and were tired after travel so decided to eat here but we weren't disappointed. The food was very good and the craft beer list was lengthy. They had grapefruit beer which was delicious. Reasonably priced with good desserts. Dear valued guest,We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the food in our restaurant very much. Thank you for your satisfaction with the beer selection. All beers are from the local Stiegl brewery. Thank you very much for staying at our hotel and for visiting our restaurant. We are delighted that you were very satisfied and we thank you for your excellent feedback. I hope that we might see you again someday on another trip to Salzburg. With kind regards, Emil Balic, F&B Manager

We ate at Grunauer Hof resturant tonight and we were really pleased we decided to try it as it was very close to our hotel and we didn't feel like travelling very far.The resturant is very traditional and authentically Austrian. The service was very good and very efficient. The food was of a high quality and very delicious. We will deffidently visit again for a meal. Highly recomend if you are visiting the area.

Der freundliche Service und das gute Essen führt uns immer wieder ins "Romantica" , wenn uns nach "Italiener" zu Mute ist. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung.

On this trip we were staying the night in Ainring at the Hotel Garni Schaider. Listed in the hotel book were two restaurants just steps away. We wanted some dessert and coffee so we walked over there with a thunderstorm threatening. Our server did not speak English but together she helped us to understand the dessert menu. The restaurant is all old world wood tables and chairs and enormous displays of beer steins around the dining areas. We didn't really know what we ordered until we got it. It was a beautiful plate with fresh fruit, small soft dumplings rolled in chopped nuts and filled with chocolate, accompanied by slices of plums, oranges and whipped cream. It was delicious! Coffee was good and my husband had a schnapps. We managed to carry on a conversation with a nice German couple seated next to us.Travel brings many happy surprises into our lives.

The Bärenwirt, located in the historic district Mülln, is one of the oldest inns in Salzburg. Hospitality plays an important role since 1663 and the traditional inn is run with a lot of personal commitment. At the Bärenwirt you enjoy traditional Austrian
To some extent, these Salzburg city centre Austrian restaurants have been victims of their own success through published reviews, and in some cases standards may have slipped. This is a bustling, 'big business' establishment with a number of dining areas. We were given a small side room with one other table which was occupied by a drunken female who proceeded to swear offensively throughout our meal. We couldn't get out quickly enough, having decided to forgo our dessert. Brisk service and average food. I recommend the Zum Fidelen Affen, but it's also busy.

Warme Küche 17:00 - 22:00 Uhr , Kitchen 17:00 - 22:00 , Reservierung erbeten. Reservation requested.
I stumbled across this restaurant while searching Tripadvisor for restaurant suggestions during my stay in Salzburg. This restaurant was located away from the main city, however it turned out to be a hidden gem. Our waiter Daniel was very friendly and welcoming, and also strangely resembled Chris Hemsworth. The food was absolutely fantastic (highly recommend the pork chops). In fact, the food was so good, we went back the day after. When I return to Salzburg in the future, I will be sure to stop by again. Writing this review has made me hungry again. 10/10

Freilassing has only two or three what we can call "traditional restaurant". This is one of the few. Beer is not very good (they have only two type of draft beer and none is "special"). Food is nice and prices are on the average of the town. Staff is nice, but at the end they are asking cheekily for tip.

This restaurant is attached to the hotel by the same name. The food is good. They do specialize in game type meals, but there are standard options as well. The cucumber salad was delicious and the wine list was extensive. It was a beautiful well cared for location and the customer service was excellent.

Big rooms, big tables, servers dressed in traditional cloth. Special good beer that you can only have in taverns, meaning you cannot find them in retail shops are they are 'freshly made'.Food is typical of the area with a wide choice of meat and some fish. It was fine for one visit.

We had a great meal at Bierheuriger and the atmosphere was very comfortable and fun. They have other choices than just authenic Austrian food and for a great price. Our waitress, Eva, was very friendly and nice. One of the better restaurants that we tried during our stay.
