...within old town of Fuerth. Lovely decorated, small restaurant serving high quality, but reasonably priced burger and salat. Sometimes also original Berlin Currywurst is available (and recommended to try). Attentive service staff. I would suggest to make reservation, especially in colder season when outside seating is not open.

Only a few yards from our hotel (NH Fuerth) we noticed how busy it was so decided to make a reservation; a wise decision, as it turned out to be very busy. We enjoyed a pleasant meal accompanied by a glass of ouzo as an added extra. Good value meal and attentive staff.

Pastarello is a small restaurant located in Fürth where everything is self-made: our pasta, our lemonades, our bread, our desserts. Here you can find several classics from the italian tradition, alongside more exotic and experimental creations.
We´re visiting Pastarello from their opening and it´s just a pleasure to see how the restaurant develops and becomes more and more busy - and this is because it`s such a nice and authentic place to be. The selfmade pasta is adorable, we tested many dishes at many times and it´s been great everytime. Service works with passion and love and it´s always enough time for a smile and a nice word, even if it´s busy. So if you look for personality and real soul food, Pastarello is a perfect place to go :-)
Have been here a couple of times now and this is definitely one of the best - if not the best - breakfast / brunch places in the Nuremberg metropolitan area! They have a great variety of healthy breakfast plates, good coffee and and juices and it is one of veeery few places where you can get eggs Benedict! All the different plates I have tried so far were delicious, all that wrapped with super-friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere makes for a great recipe to kicking off the weekend! A little pricey but definitely worth every Euro! Thank you KATS team!!

Wir machen Betriebsurlaub vom 6 bis 27. August
During our five day trip to Nuremberg, a very pleasant evening was spent in the adjoining town of Furth. At the Gruner Brauhaus to be exact, just a short distance from Furth train station.Being a brewery as well as a restaurant the house beer was very well matched to the usual pig products. Although the food was very good, the portions were just too large. Tip, make sure you are very hungry should you intend eating at this restaurant. The restaurant is quite large but nevertheless very busy, so best book particularly for the weekend. Usual jovial servers, definitely a worthwhile experience, sensibly priced too. I would go again, having made sure that I had missed breakfast and lunch.

Must say was the best Greek food that I tasted outside Greece. We ordered three dishes and no ingredient was repeated and, the most important thing, really tasty!!!!I take one point off because of waiter attitude, mainly but also because they have no English menu either the waiter speaks English. Is nothing difficult to have 2-3 English menus...they should consider it! And the waiter, well...he could act nicer with the clients and more patient (specially if you see people no German speaking are trying to translate the menu).

Let me start with the bad - the wine. I ordered a glass of red wine which cost 6.50 euros. Since we were seated next to the bar, I was able to see that it was a bottle from a discount store in Germany, specifically Aldi. The bottle in Aldi costs 1.99. Unbelievable. As for the food, there were hits and misses, but generally good. The beet carpaccio was bland, but the pasta with truffles was sublime. We had three different mains and we were all satisfied with them. I had the shrimps poached in prosecco with risotto and it was delicious even if a tad salty. The other mains were exceptional. At least according to the my friends who ate them.Over-all, this restaurant merits a visit.Grazie. Gianni Minneci
