Reviews on European food in Rosenheim, Bavaria, Germany. The independent city of Rosenheim (Central Bavarian: Rousnam) is located in the centre of the district of Rosenheim (Upper Bavaria), and is also the seat of administration of this region. It is located on the west bank of the Inn at the confluence of the rivers Inn and Mangfall, in the Bavarian Alpine Foreland. It is the third largest city in Upper Bavaria with over 61,000 inhabitants and one of 23 administrative centres in Bavaria. Rosenheim is therefore the economic centre and the busiest place in the region.

Nice little place in the centre of Rosenheim. A family run restaurant which offers Croatian meals. The place itself is a bit plain and bare when you walk in but the staff show you to you table and are always friendly and very hospitable. There is a very good choice on the menu and in the 5 or 6 times that we have been there the food has always been very good indeed.I always tend to go for the meat dishes and my wife either eats the fish or vegetarian dishes. Not that she is a vegetarian, she just likes them. The prices here are reasonable and the food good.On the whole it is a very nice place to eat and some of our friends enjoy it so much here that they eat here every week. If that doesnât speak volumes I donât know what does.Parking is nearby and there are also a couple of space near the restaurant.Try itâ¦.you will enjoy itâ¦probably.

There were 4 tables available on the terrace, I had a reservation and waited for 10 min for the waiter to look for a table. Got bored and left...Thank you for your feedback. We have been over the last few weeks, we've all done our best to please everyone. I had assigned you a table, unfortunately more and more people came and I was probably not fast enough. I am very sorry, this is certainly not our level. I would be very happy if you give us another change.Christos Pappas

The entrance at the back of Karstadt shopping mall looks a bit odd but us soon you arrive at Il Monastero on 2nd floor the medieval ambience really hits you. For us the layout, design and decoration was the highlight of the evening as the food at all was a bit flat in taste. Nothing special worth to keep in good memory and no reason to return. We had some platter with mixed sea food. The restaurant wasn't really crowded on this weekday so we were surprised that the waitress ongoing brought some wrong staff. We also had the feeling that the staff went over the top by ongoing asking if anything else could be served. This disturbed a bit our lively discussion with friends we haven't seen for a long time. We have chosen Il Monastero for this special occasion and left a bit disappointed about the food. For the decoration we would come back at any time, but maybe only for a drink and some basic finger food.

Really nice and stylish ambiente, clean and charming. Service made an impression of caring Italian family. Complimentary bruschetta as a starter - nice. Also, decent house wine suggestion. Free WiFi. Food: linguine with veal meat balls - yummy, al dente as it should be, tender fresh meat. Espresso/capuccino - lovely. Highly recommended.

We got the tip on this place from a shop lady and were very very glad we could get in. Lots of homemade pasta, home made mozzarella and great wine. Service was super friendly and you could have small or large serves. No one was unhappy with their meal. The stuffed zucchini flowers were a highlight.

Really nice Palace for good local food (even a fine choice for veggies) and cool, delicious beer. The location appears smaller in the Outsider, but there several huge bavarian.style rooms to choose from and also the balcony and the beautiful little beergarden!!!

We had booked a night at the San Gabriel Hotel, which is an experience in itself, again work a detour, and the restaurant is part of the building. The premises are just unique, food served by waiters dressed like monks. The restaurant has so many different nooks and crannies: apparently a converted convent or monastery, but it has been so well done.Asparagus season, and the taste was sublime with hollandaise sauce and olive oil. Main courses, prawns, meat, pasta were packed full of flavour.Cost was very reasonable. Good wine selection.A must do experience.

The restaurant was full, full, full on this bank holiday when we entered at 1 pm. We were greeted nicely by the owner and then guided by a young lady to one of the "Stuben" where we had to wait for free seats, but only a short time.Great atmosphere, nice decoration that really matches and goes through the whole interior. Everywhere you find a deer. On the curtain, the porcelain, on the table, the lamps...Food was good, but my expectation was a little higher and the service could have been a little more friendlier, even though it was full, full, full of people!

It is a small but beautiful restaurant. You can feel the passion of the owner they put into the interior details. Approximately 30 - 50 person can take place in it so it's better to book in beforehand. The waitress was very kind and intently to the guests. Also the meals were fabulous and tastes awesome. A nice place to enjoy good food.
