Lamm shank tender and tasty. Moussaka also tasty and good portion size. Tomato soup tasty but contains barley which was not a problem for my sister but would have been a problem if ordered by my gluten free wife. Service and atmosphere good. Would definately come again.

By day 8 I was getting tired of the heavy German food so we decided to eat at Café Raffaello for pizza. Instead of ordering two pizzas we got a larger size for 4⬠more which was plenty for the two of us, I usually can't finish a whole pizza by myself. The pizza was good and had ample toppings, we got the cacciatora with pizza and ham. It was a rather warm day so I saved a bit of room for ice cream, there's a large menu of ice cream creations and I got one with bananas, chocolate, whipped cream and 2 flavors of ice cream and it hit the spot. My husband had apple strudel, I would not recommend it. Like all the places we ate, the waiters were extremely busy but the service was quick enough and the setting on a sunny warm June day was relaxing. The total for lunch was 29⬠for 1 large pizza, 2 beers and 2 desserts.
Positiv: groÃe Auswahl an Schnitzelgerichten, die preislich zwischen 10-14 Euro liegen.Die Preise für Biere und Getränke sind mit durchschnittlich 2,60 sehr günstig.Die Qualität des Essens ist guter Durchschnitt. Die Portionen sind ausreichend bis groÃ.Toiletten zwar alt aber im sauberen Zustand.Negativ: Die Raumtemperatur in der Gaststätte war zu niedrig. Die Heizung ist nicht wirkungsvoll oder wurde stark reguliert; schade somit 1 Punkt Abzug;

We were passing through and stopped for lunch. Our waitress was helpful and efficient and provided us with English menus. This is a conveniently located restaurant right on the main street through town with both indoor and outdoor seating. It offers traditional German food and it does it well. You'll find an extensive menu with all the German specialties. It is well worth your giving it a try.

It was my first time there. My partner invited me for a relaxing, special dinner, no kids, just the two of us. He promised the place was special and I was going to like it.He was definitely right, the type of restaurants with that touch I appreciate and enjoy.My partner explained me that the restaurant is own by a couple, both retired, that almost made it for having an activity they both enjoy doing together now that they are retired. So, she is an excellent cooker and he is a wine expert with a really nice sense of humor. Then, their daughter is an architect (I think so) and she transformed an old typical Bavarian house into a really nice, warm space, carefully chosen every detail. The result: a great small restaurant with personality, where you will enjoy the ambience, the food, the right wine or drink to accompany it and the great honest attention of Jurgen, which is always around with his nice sense of humor and his knowledge about wine.They just open on Friday and normally are fully booked, so consider this detail if you want to have a especial dinner here. Ah! And check on the website the menü in advance, because it is the most popular option, a four or five courses dinner they offer.By they way, they offer variety of food, of course, with the German touch.

This restaurant is part of the very large Dehner garden business. The food is certainly adequate, but it is in no way special, and the service is rather slow, though friendly. The restaurant clearly plays second fiddle to Dehner's primary concern, which is selling plants. The setting is pleasant, and the park that you can enter from the restaurant is very attractive. Worth a visit if you are in the area,
Wanted just a quick lunch and normally this is very well possible in Italian restaurants in Germany. Opted for a tomato soup and a pasta. Soup was very nice, big portion size. the pasta was well prepared and also more then generous in portion size. Service was correct but can be improved on friendliness and giving you the 'guest' feeling. All in all an OK place for lunch.

Chose the salad buffet and an asparagus dinner. Paired with great salvaner wine from Castell. Restaurant quite big but very quiet with friendly staff.

I stayed here for 1 night whilst cycling. It's right in the middle of Rain. Interesting concept, butchers shop, guesthouse and restaurant.I was alone so had a single room, which was compact but functional and clean.The restaurant was really busy , serving great food at incredibly reasonable prices.The breakfast buffet was fab, everything you wish for and was served from 6am.
