During summer holidays we want to enjoy every lunch and dinner, therefore I read plenty of reviews in Tripadvisor and in most cases it helps, but not this time. I know pizzeria/trattoria Da Francesco since many years and you could not predict if they cook today tasty or poor. This month we were not lucky, salads and pasta tasted like food in the office canteen, when you eat it because no other choice left, and you convince yourself that food is OK and there are plenty places where food is even worse. No reason to come again, there are so really good places on Tegernsee!

Here the discerning diner can see what happens if you apply fine dining concepts and Michelin star training to traditional Bavarian country CousineI love it - no LOVE ITService is good especially for Germany and the touristy area but then it is run by a husband and wife team so almost to be expectedThe menu is small with a view seasonal add oneTry:Boefflamotte 10/10 - this is a take on a french dish imported in napoleonischen times in middle class Bavarian Cousine- my nanâs was good - this however takes it to a different levelAnything veal- traditionally in Bavaria veal is the choice of meat for celebration here done extremely well - one of the few places in Germany were meat is treated well and not cooked to death.... rare here means rare!Starters: all very good - I went conventional with an asparagus creme soup which was divineDeserts- their sorbets are to die for (and perhaps the only thing you will master after a menu)Good wine list with personalized bottles from small German vine yards, good beer from Hacker on tapLovely maintained (not overrestored as so often) ambience with nice crockery and tableware, glasses etcA true GEM

We ate here one night while holidaying in Schliersee and enjoyed it. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The meal was a good size and very filling, I started with a very nice salad then had the deer goulash, very tasty. My wife had the pork schnitzel and said it was good. This restaurant at Karma Bavaria is worth eating at.

Very nice interior with a nice touch that they have the grill for the meat in the dining room so you can see your stuff being cooked. We had a Pork steak which was actually two large steaks with a choice of French Fries, Baked Potato or Salad from a salad bar in the dining room and a Kebab which was enough meat for two and a Pizza which was very nice as well.A nice atmosphere in general.

The dreaded German service- sorry to bother you with my customI happened to be there twice on the same day and had I not arranged to meet a very long friend in the vending in the restaurants there wouldnât have been enough horses around to pull me back in this placeI stopped there in the morning passing by for a quick breakfast in their downstairs bar- it was early (7.30) but full and great warm weatherNow queue discipline or control off whatsoever, no menus - you stood on the bar and if you knew what you wanted (and what hey had great) - ow ask for a menu- back in the queue .....After I ordered I was given my coffee and a time for my cooked breakfast- I was more than halfway through my coffe when this rang and faced the next problemYou guess it - back to the queue- (my seat was gönne by the time I came back - so donât go alone), same long queue - I could see my food waiting on the pass slowly getting cold....- there are three of four stations but none for people who collect their orders- and they are not served either - how weird is thatI was so pi.....ed off that I honestly do not remember hw the food and coffee was in the end - looking at the queues they ist get something right but........ never again - downstairs From the memo Ent you enter the restaurant/bar upstairs you enter a different world - when i was back there in the evening I was impressed with the food, drinks on offer and even the service - as well as the view out of the floor to ceiling windows.....I could now continue to describe dishes etc but I am still to annoyed with my morning experience - but we had a great evening upstairsAvoid the bar like the plagueIf you have to go use the restaurant (itâs busy even midweek - might need to book - my friend did)Hello cramorra, thank you for your feedback !We are sorry that you were disappointed by our espressobar downstairs.Everything is selfservice there and most of the people decide from the food in the show case.If you want to order a full breakfast menu, we recommend our restaurant upstairs. Moreover we are very sorry, that there was a missunderstanding about collecting your order. You don´t have to get back in the queue, but you can pick it up directly at the pass with your given number. As a family business it is very important for us to make your stay as great as possible. We hope we can excite you next time.Greatings fro the Irschenberg,- your DINZLER-team

Everything about this restaurant was just perfect. We arrived tired and very hungry after our long day walking trip. The autumn there is increadibly stunning. We received very warm welcome greeting acompanied by best ever olive snack. Music was just at the perfect volume, so we could sink ourselves in a meditarean heat and have very nice conversation with the most charming Andrea who served our table. Food- salats, anti-pasti, pasta, pizza- all looked just great and what we had was an excellent choice recommended by Andrea. Lovely place, excellent food, perfect servise and gay-friendly. One MUST try!!!
