The restaurant is located in a hotel of which the exterior is more traditional Bavarian. However, the restaurant is modern and attractive. The menu has something for everyone: meat, fish and veggie. The young chef is very enthusiastic and and serves delightful dishes. Highly recommended!Dear YogiMenM,thank you very much for the special Feedback. First ate at this restaurant in January, and had such a wonderful meal, I eagerly returned in February. On both occasions, the service was really first class. Very attentive, friendly and efficient. We were all given a complimentary small tapas before our first course arrived. We then had a tapas starter, and I had the Argentinian fillet steak, cooked as I like it, rare. The roasted vegetables I had to accompany the steak were delicious, and a generous portion. I would highly recommend this warm and friendly restaurant.

Had dinner here with a group recently, and had an enjoyable evening. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was so so, nothing special, and quite expensive. I had the rump steak madagascar, which came with a baked potato which was alright, but I think microwaved as the skin wasn't oven baked and the sour cream too sweet. The steak was fine, but not delicious, but cooked how I had ordered it - rare. The flavoured butter it came with was either straight out of the freezer or fridge and rock hard so did not melt on the steak.

Leider ist das Parkcafe seit knapp 2 jahren kein ursprügliches Cafe mehr.Es wird jetzt als Türkisches Lokal geführt,mit Spezilitäten aus der Türkischen Küche.Kuchen gibt es auch aber steht nicht mehr im Mittelpunkt.Aber wer schnell ein Schnack will ist dort gut aufgehoben

Good traditional food, an amazing Scheinshaxen. Outside seating at the promenade is recommended (good weather). Only male servers, no worries they are friendly and funny to.

Just happened to pass through this Bavarian town with a very good friend because I constantly travel, I can honestly say that this is probably in the top 2 of 100 or so restaurants that I have visited this past year. The pork knuckle I had was to put it mildly, simply out of this world good. Came back the following day...the rest of the menu was positively fantastic. The wait staff are very cordial and proficient and Thomas Obst (Owner & Head Chef) sure knows how to treat his customers and cooks sublimely. I hope to return soon...and fully recommend the warm and true Bavarian atmosphere in this establishment which is truly unique and original in its own way.

The restaurant in the centre of Immenstadt was very welcoming with a nice ambiance. The menu had a wide choice. We started with pumpkins soup, which was delicious, I then had wild boar, which was very tender and well presented. My wife had risotto of spinach, cheese, mushrooms and cheese, which she assured me was delicious, but very filling. The service was polite and helpful and our waitress spoke good english and provided an english menu with some interesting translations, which saved us struggling with the dictionary. A very enjoyable evening

Not even a year since the opening, only 12 weeks in Tripadvisor and already voted the best restaurant in Sonthofen. Astounding that so many people all at once decided to give Yamas 5 points! The food is excellent; this lady knows how to cook. She manages to give the original greek dishes her special touch and they really do taste much better than many standard versions. Even the simply grilled meat dishes are absolutely perfectly prepared. This location was, for a long time, the very good german restaurant Germania. They closed and a couple of others tried their luck unsuccessfully. In the meantime after stages of renovation, Yamas looks really fine, bright and clean. Parking is a problem, but the Sonthofen underground car park is only a couple of hundred meters away. Well worth a try. Better to reserve a table and even if you have to wait a while when the kitchen is overwhelmed, its worth it. We have visited Yamas probably 5 or six times and the food was always well above average.

We were refused entrance even after having received a confirmation of our reservation. Reason: we complained about their bad responsiveness. The lady just: you should read our email which the apparantly did send after confirming our reservation. An email which must have ended up in the spam box. Then just left us standing on Boxing day without food!
