Magnifico Italia at lake Tegernsee Look forward to an encouter brimming with lightness and zest for living. But above all to the passion for sophistically interoperated, traditional cuisine from Northern Italy. Discover the aroma of homebaked focaccias wi

Mediterran eingerichtetes Restaurant bekannt für hausgemachte Pizza, exzellente Steaks, knackige und pfiffige Snacks. Wechselnde Tages- / Wochenangebote. SKY SPORTS BAR
Nothing special on the menu, nor anything on the menu is worth a second try. The place is indeed a sports bar fancied by soccer fans on the adjacent bar area. Diner seems to be a drag for the owners. Pizza way below average with only diferent different choices. Stay away from chicken wings. Steak is ok but nothing special. Would not go again. Also no English speaking service. Dear guests, we find it very surprising that you rate our restaurant below average. You have been asked minimum two times during and after your meal if everything was ok. According to our service staff, you had nothing to complain about. Our homemade pizza is well known and even better reputated. The same applies as well to our crispy, bread crumbed chicken wings as our steaks. We have a menue with about 30 different starters and main courses, which are all prepared upon order. If there is nothing, which caters your requirements/ expectations, we really can't help it. Moreover we find it very surprising, that you consider our service staff not to ne alle to speak English. I can restassure you, that all our staff is very capable to hold a conversation in English. According to the two staff, who served your group one member of your group spoke German. Obviously then our staff adresses you in German. Certainly it is your right to have your own opinion about your stay in our restaurant. We we would like to urge you for future visits in any other restaurants to be fair and openly tell the service staff, if something is not to your satisfaction. It is very easy to write something in the Internet rather than asking i.e. for the Manager in the restaurant. Mistakes may happen, but you should adress them openly, when you are being asked. Please so not hesitate to contact us in [email protected] should you wish to discuss this matter further.

Went in on Saturday night without a reservation. Place was swamped, but they worked to fit us in. This is a fun place and draws locals and repeat business from tourists. Great menu and the food is real good. My calf liver was tender and the sauce was to die for. The inside decor is so well done. When we're back in this area we'll do it again. I highly recommend!Dear judgejohnny, thank you very much for your words of praise. We were very happy about it and will be happy to pass on your compliments to our team. Nice that you were with us. On an early reunion with best regards from Feichtner Hof! :-)

Culinary excellence full of passion and perfection - that's what you can expect at Restaurant Ueberfahrt. You are invited to relax and fully indulge yourself when Christian Juergens, awarded with 3 Michelin stars and 19.5 Gault&Millau points, conjures up
With high expectancies we got our table in the restaurant of Christian Jürgens. The restaurant looks nice and very modern, the service is casual. The food is very nicely prepared and every dish is arranged like a modern piece of art. The taste is good but from my taste not overwhelming. The price is also at the higher end even for this restaurant category. Overall worth good but 1 time is enough.Dear kane2092,Thank you very much for your review. I would also like to thank you for your detailed feedback and thoughts on your stay, which I have read carefully. I hope to see you again at Tegernsee some time!Yours sincerelyChristian Jürgens

During summer holidays we want to enjoy every lunch and dinner, therefore I read plenty of reviews in Tripadvisor and in most cases it helps, but not this time. I know pizzeria/trattoria Da Francesco since many years and you could not predict if they cook today tasty or poor. This month we were not lucky, salads and pasta tasted like food in the office canteen, when you eat it because no other choice left, and you convince yourself that food is OK and there are plenty places where food is even worse. No reason to come again, there are so really good places on Tegernsee!

Who ever expected to find octopus on the menu at a little out-of-the-way place in the Upper Bavarian countryside? We're so lucky to have stumbled onto this restaurant and the adjoining hotel Kestlerwirt after knocking ourselves out trying to land a room along the crowded shores of the Tegernsee. The menu had interesting options, plated elegantly and served deftly by very attentive and friendly waitresses. We sat at a fabulous table for two next to the lawn and garden that stretches up from the terrace. Some of the fresh produce served up was presumably picked right there. Choose a warm summer evening, relax and enjoy!! We suspect reservations might be a good idea--again, we lucked out.

The Kaltenbrunn Estate is a magical place which offers a perfect combination of Bavarian lifestyle, tradition, culture and indulgence. Boasting a history stretching back as far as the 15th century, it is set at an attractive location on Lake Tegernsee, no
Some locals recommended this place for lunch and it turned out to be a great local find. Nothing fancy but very homely in a great setting with views of the lake and alps, very good local food and beer. Here the discerning diner can see what happens if you apply fine dining concepts and Michelin star training to traditional Bavarian country CousineI love it - no LOVE ITService is good especially for Germany and the touristy area but then it is run by a husband and wife team so almost to be expectedThe menu is small with a view seasonal add oneTry:Boefflamotte 10/10 - this is a take on a french dish imported in napoleonischen times in middle class Bavarian Cousine- my nanâs was good - this however takes it to a different levelAnything veal- traditionally in Bavaria veal is the choice of meat for celebration here done extremely well - one of the few places in Germany were meat is treated well and not cooked to death.... rare here means rare!Starters: all very good - I went conventional with an asparagus creme soup which was divineDeserts- their sorbets are to die for (and perhaps the only thing you will master after a menu)Good wine list with personalized bottles from small German vine yards, good beer from Hacker on tapLovely maintained (not overrestored as so often) ambience with nice crockery and tableware, glasses etcA true GEM
