We come here often and are always welcomed by friendly staff, usually Monica, the owner who personally supervises everything. The menu offers a good choice and the food is consistently excellent. Not as heavy as some traditional Bavarian food. The owner and some staff speak excellent Engish!

Ate out here this evening with friends, and we all had excellent meals. The restaurant was fairly busy, and the service was extremely good, friendly and efficient. There was a special additional menu using seasonal produce, on this occasion it was mushrooms (other times we have visited it was asparagus). Two of us had cream of mushroom soup with fresh thyme, which was fabulous, and others had buffalo mozzarella with apple smoke and tomato salsa. I had carpaccio of salmon with an avocado mouse. To follow, we had a chicken salad (v large), chicken on a bed of rocket risotto, and kasespatzle. All excellent. This is the best restaurant in Bad Hindelang in my opinion.

Restaurant Silberdistel With dream views over the Allgäu mountains you can enjoy a very special evening at the gourmet restaurant Silberdistel, which is distinguished with one Michelin star as well as 16 points in the Gault&Millau. The service team, chefs
The staff is of outstanding helpfulness, knowledge about food and drink and highly attentive. every member is knowledge about all of dining, not only specialized members of staff. And they don't hesitate to ask and deliver highly competent answers. Ameuse gueule is served before the menu is handed over. Very nice !Food was a mixture of both worlds traditional like Haeberlin and outreaching to new worlds like Madam Pic.The extreme reliance of local produce does not life up to traditional sourcing each time.Dear Deobo, Thank you very much for taking the time to evaluate your visit to our restaurant Silberdistel. We are very happy about your top rating and the kind words. How wonderful that we could convince you of our offer and service and that you spent some nice hours in Ofterschwang. we are happy to pass on your praise to our team. This restaurant is an absolute must if you are after a special meal, but make sure you make a reservation. The restaurant was very busy for a Sunday evening, which was a good sign. The menu is very extensive, with a daily special menu of five courses, which three of our group chose. The courses were just the right size, and decent gaps in between. The food was expertly presented, and the ingredients were of high quality. Everything was just perfect, and none of us could criticise anything. This was quite simply the very best meal I have experienced in Germany, indeed the best meal I have had in a very long time. The environment is delightful, very warm and cosy with lots of atmosphere. I can't wait to return here as often as I can. For the standard of food, the prices are reasonable.

Very good food, authentically typical and freshly prepared. A good selection of the local great brew and and some open, appropriate wines. We enoyed our evening very much and after a day of hiking, biking, skiing or whatever, there's hardly a better place to go. Friendly and good serviceParking is a bit difficult. Its best to park in the Marktanger underground and walk 2 minutes. At 50 cent/hour not a budget buster !!

Restaurant Inizio Pizza and pasta pleasure in Tiefenberg within walking distance of the Sonnenalp Resort. Enjoy time together with us by sipping an excellent glass of wine, by tasting the homemade pasta dishes or sampling one of the Mediterranean salads o
My wife and me went to the Inizio are really liked it. It's run by the appretices of the next door Sonnenalp. You really feel that they like what they do and have that special enthusiasm about it. The food was good with two minor issues (the bruchette soaked by the salat dressing and a little saltyness in the sauce) but we really enjoyed the evening and will come back once we are in that area.have a go and see yourself

The restaurant is located in a hotel of which the exterior is more traditional Bavarian. However, the restaurant is modern and attractive. The menu has something for everyone: meat, fish and veggie. The young chef is very enthusiastic and and serves delightful dishes. Highly recommended!Dear YogiMenM,thank you very much for the special Feedback. We are very proud that you will recommend our restaurant. We would be very happy, if you visit us again soon. best regardsConstantin

Had dinner here with a group recently, and had an enjoyable evening. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was so so, nothing special, and quite expensive. I had the rump steak madagascar, which came with a baked potato which was alright, but I think microwaved as the skin wasn't oven baked and the sour cream too sweet. The steak was fine, but not delicious, but cooked how I had ordered it - rare. The flavoured butter it came with was either straight out of the freezer or fridge and rock hard so did not melt on the steak.

Good traditional food, an amazing Scheinshaxen. Outside seating at the promenade is recommended (good weather). Only male servers, no worries they are friendly and funny to.
