I don't know how often they do it, but it was really delicious, with several kinds of meat, loads of sauces, and some vegetarian things too (I'm not a vegetarian, so I didn't really try any of them). Salads and desserts as well. The wines by the glass were decent. It was just under ⬠30 per person, not including the drinks.

Modern bavarian style restaurant. Good choice of food, good quality. Friendly personnel. Parking a bit difficult in Prien, although better at night. This is actually a hotel (Bayrischer Hof). Also very recommendable is the bar across the corridor, named "Fletz".

After the very good reviews we we went there on a Friday evening. When we came the restaurant was still almost empty. Just one couple. We managed to order before a rather large party of 10 people entered. The waiter was not to be seen for 10 to 20 min at a time. With Max 20 people dining one should think it would be no problem for 2 people, but obviously not. The waitress had time for a long guest entertainment. The toilets was freezing. Be sure to take your jacket. The pizzas was good and the bottom very nice and crisp. Nothing to say negative about the food, but if you don't plan to stay for some hours then consider other options.

This is an excellent restaurant that excels in refined dining, whose Slovakian/Bavarian inspired cuisine of gourmet quality is delicious beyond belief. It is operated by a Son/Father combination, whose personal touch abounds from the décor, discussion of menu options, meal preparation, cooking, serving, wine selection, the gamut of a wonderful dining experience. Everything her you feel has an intimate quality about it. This is a key dining experience in the area.

A very basic place with simple tables inside and outside. Children, workers, tourists, young people out for fun and beer. Quick and very nice service. Huge dishes of basic Bavarian food at dirt cheap prices. The food is decent but not much more. You can certainly get a better schnitzel 50 meters across the street, but you can't beat the quality/price ratio. Go there for the fun or if you are really hungry.

Dined here one night during stay at the Neuer Am See Hotel. Excellent service, diverse menu (some good fish options), tasty food. Nothing not to like.

It is a wonderful restaurant with a very good service. There is a place for kids to play, a room to change kid's diapers, and chairs for children. There view from veranda is nice even when you have the stormy weather. The fish is delicious and tasty deserts are waiting for you there.

Heinz Winkler, one of the most successful top chefs in Germany and founder of the Cuisine Vitale offers unique star cuisine combined with excellent service. Between Salzburg and Munich, not far from the Chiemsee lake, the five-star Residenz Heinz Winkler
Since we stayed two lovely nights at this amazing hotel, we dined in the Residenz's exquisitely beautiful dining room both nights enjoying the outstanding gustation menus. The friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating maitre d'hotel and his understaff worked like a well oiled machine anticipating every need. Specific dietary needs were easily addressed by slightly changing seasonal menu items. Platings were works of art. The dining experience here is so deserving of its well earned starsDear MCBW5875, we say thank you for your great rating. It was our pleasure that you was enjoying your stay with us. We hope we can welcome you again in our Residenz Heinz Winkler. With best regards Diana

We ate here as a large group and were not disappointed - there is an excellent selection of different food and even though it is a fish restaurant, there are meat and non-meat options and some Bavarian specialities. Portions are of a good size and there is an extensive wine menu. Ask to see the schnapps collection - the bottles are enormous!

After many years visited this outstanding fish restaurant in a new winter pavillion . Superbly prepared main course. Dessert list a bit thin. Wine list needs to be expanded. Friendly staff.
