The beaches are a huge draw, but there’s so much more to do in this Malaysian hotspot. Frolic with the delicate residents of a butterfly farm, then explore the fragrant landscape of tropical spice garden and fruit farms. The massive collection of dolls, games and models at the Toy Museum brings joy to kids and kids at heart. Save some energy for the Night Market, a lively scene of stalls where good-natured bargaining skills come in handy.

We had 6 nights here as part of our honeymoon, beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Location is excellent with private beach access and no more than a 3 minute walk to the night market where there was food of every kind. We only did bed and breakfast and I am glad as the restaurant whilst perfect was not as relaxed as the pool/beach café where the food was excellent, especially the BBQ night, too much food! Highly recommend this hotel.

Serve B'fast, Lunch & Dinner. Operation time: 7am - 11pm. This outlet is operated by two team. Morning shift is from 7am-3pm and the Afternoon shift is from 3pm-11pm. For good food please call Ricky's team to check which shift he is on to avoid disappointment in food.
We have been visiting this restaurant for many years as it is in our must do list when in Batu Ferringhi. Our latest visit did not disappoint. Very good Satay to start with a really tasty peanut sauce. Main courses of beef with pepper, kapitan chicken and fried rice were equally good described my my wife as best local cuisine we have had on this visit. Thoroughly recommended.

Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!
We spent 4 nights in Penang and ate out at these fantastic outdoor 'food courts' that sell street food or 'hawker food', without the hastle of traffic as they are pedestrian only. Amazing range of freshly cooked food of every variety, just walk around find what you fancy and they cook it and bring it to your table. Superb.

The seafood combo is extremely disappointing . For the price of rm84, there is only two small prawns, two oysters, one scallop, a few squids and a piece of fish. Expected a real combo not this type of portion and quality.
Service staff was not attentive.
Pizza is ok.

We had Penang laksa, fried Kwetiau and curry fish. Curry fish is rich and tasty but too much flower coated the fish. Kwetiau is very oily and way too soft. Portion is small. However, it was only RM7.5. Laksa was not bad but overprice at RM20.

Helena Cafe We Serve Since 1790 Thank You For all Support During all Years And Our Return Guest Every Year. Keep Supporting Us.God Bless.
Best local food we've had in 7 days we've been here. Curry was excellent, very saucy, nice bit of heat. Chinese meal also very good. Beers could do with being a bit colder, but that's a minor point when the food is so good.

Connected to the spice garden , lots of food options and veggies , nice staff and very helpfull it's got cool shade and monkeys sometime are around , but they keep them away from dinners not too expensive for tourists but too much if you on budget

A very large restaurant which is ideal for large parties. We had local fish and prawns which were cooked wonderfully but were quite expensive because you pick them by weight. The waitress we had was very helpful and making sure we didn't pick too much and the right variety.

The pizzeria restaurant offers exceptionally good pizza. The bad is crisp, the toppings plentiful and the portion size huge!!
The service is relaxed and friendly, and the setting, right there on the beach is perfect.
The kitchen is open plan so that you can see the food being created.
It is a good fun evening out, we recommend you should try it!
