Things to do in Amasra
When we dined there we had outstanding service and very tasty food. Both inside and outside there is covered seating. The chicken orzo soup was particularly tasty as were the meatballs and the other accompaniments to the lunch.
In Amasra we saw many restaurants, both fish and others. We chose Tuana due to the location near the harbour.Friendly staff serving us.Most guests were turkish (in fact most tourists in Amasra were turkish) OK for us.Our friends was not to happy about the soup of the day,but the fish dishes were very good.Prices mid-range.WiFi worked fine in the restaurant.

Great service, fresh and delicious fish, Turkish raki, good views. I loved it! Highly recommended! Live soft, unplugged Turkish Black Sea music!
AcıkmıÅtık yer arıyorduk Dalyan balık Lokantasını gördük. İçeri girdik balıÄımızı söyledik ama balıklar az piÅmiÅti. Salatası da idare ederdi. Daha iyi salatalarda yemiÅtim.

The restaurant is located in the center of Amasra and one of the fish restaurants located on the seaside. The tables located at the back has a very nice view in the evening, however that is the only plus point. The famous salad from the town was full of vinegar. The mussels were fine however calamar was below average. The most hilarious thing was the waitor talked about one bier brand for 5 mins and made us order that one however brought a wrong brand. You can try other restaurants.
We stumbled upon this restaurant based on a recommendation from a person who we met at our hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant sits on top of a hill overlooking a sandy beach. When we visited there was a big rain storm in the area, so the sea was rough; however, this gave us a pretty dramatic view which we though was beautiful. We can easily see how sunsets during the summer months would be absolutely gorgeous. The salad was very good, a little too much dressing, but we still enjoyed it. The levrek was fresh and extremely tasty, as was the little fried fish we got and the calamari. The Turkish coffee was solid. Overall we would recommend this restaurant. We enjoyed this meal more than the restaurants we visited in Amasra, so if you are in/near Amasra i would swing by for a great view and a great meal.

This is one of two fish restaurants that were recommended by our Turkish friends. The multi level restaurant overlooks the harbour which is a plus. The service was excellent even with a language barrier. The fried calamari was tender and the sauce that accompanied it was quite tasty. The whitefish was a plateful of small fish lightly breaded and fried. This restaurant was a bit more expensive than their competition in Amasra but not so much more that it would deter me from returning.

If you are looking for a place to have a peaceful dinner by the sea with a stunning view, delicious seafood, and professional/friendlly staff, this restaurant is just the place for you. You'll be happy about the prices, as well. That's why it's our go-to restaurant whenever we visit Amasra with my friends. You'll find that the staff and the owner are very attentive, service is quick; and all you have to do is enjoy your time.
