Having read previous reviews we were wondering what to expect. We are staying in the hotel so had already explored the many corridors and rooms. This complex is 100âs of years old, combining 11 different houses. So understanding that and walking through it - the narrow and low corridors/stairwells in places just adds to the character of the place. The menu covers a variety of food groups and prices so most people are covered. We found the Targines to be very good.We had a bottle of house red for â¬15 which was very enjoyable. The service was very friendly and efficient. We were never left waiting and they were very helpful with us being non Spanish speakers.The overall experience (ambience, food, service, price) was great and we would certainly recommend. We also ate breakfast here which was amazing...

The famous Bar Saboy was our first place to visit while in Zahora and what a wonderful find. It was not too busy for lunch. We were served instantly and told the kitchen was open. We chose from an excellent selection of food and had Fried Boquerones, small fish and a variety of Moroccan salads. The food was prepared fresh and was delicious.The service was friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We went go again in the evening as Friday night is a chance to chat in Spanish and then for any aspiring musicians to enjoy playing together. We had two of the Indonesian dishes which were superb although the rice was a bit cool.

Excellent lunchtime spot. When you tire of Spanish food then Morrocan flavour is just the ticket. The Mezze: hummus, babaganoush, tabbouleh with hot bread was delicious, so too the lemon chicken. On offer too kebabs and hamburgers. Excellent menu and wine - with some unusual sherries too. Just right for a snack. A bargain too.
