Things to do in Heidelberg
Back to the Hub again this morning. Enjoyed my big breakfast very much, especially the Cypriot sausage the name of which momentarily escapes me. My coffee was lovely too. Service was warm and friendly. The Hub is recommended.Four months earlierThis cafe/bistro used to be known as Over the Road until a major renovation a number of months ago. The space has undergone substantial change and some lovely modifications have been made. It's more modern, orderly and coherent. The gifts that used to be dotted around the place are gone and it's more spacious now and warmer. Today we ordered the egg and bacon focaccia with chili jam. It was very nice and made for a hearty lunch. We finished it off with coffees and a scientifically halved salted caramel cookie. The cookie belongs with the foods served to the angels in heaven. I felt significant psychological pain finishing my half. My coffee was ok but not one I'd include in a hall of fame. It's a nice place and some of the other dishes looked fantastic.

Spanish Restaurant & Wine Bar specializing in authentic Spanish. Tinto has a bar, a dining area as well as footpath eating and a small courtyard. One of the main features is its long Spanish style bar, perfect for a casual catch-up with friends or simply

3.8 with capacity to ascend. The Pepper Tree seems to have all the elements that make a good modern cafe these days. I like the inside. Iâve always admired the distressed look and they have that here with patches of plaster missing and showing exposed brick. I like the wood and old style light fittings as well. Itâs shabby chic and immeasurably more interesting than the decor in a couple of the other cafes in the area. The staff were up and about. I was served promptly and politely with just the right measure of human connection when ascertaining and dealing with my needs. Water therefore came quickly as did the large long black Iâd ordered. The coffee was absolutely fine. It was well made and flavoursome and was exactly what I was seeking on this cool grey day. The menu looked interesting here as well. I liked the cafe and Iâd certainly return.

This friendly and family owned and operated restaurant care about their customers and deliver delicious food. They have a very clear understanding of catering for someone whoâs Coeliac - first hand. They also understand fructose intolerance. The staff will help guide you though whatâs possible if food intolerances are part of your life. The dishes are quite large as is quite normal with Italian restaurants, the flavours are lovely. Have eaten here a few times over the last 4 years, always delightful.Thank you fifiB07! We understand the frustration that those with dietary requirements face when eating out. We will always strive to make people with dietary requirements feel at ease when dining @ Vasko, instead of feeling alienated. Thank you again!
