Wow! What a great spot to be in El Salt Jordan. Amazing city areal view from their indoor restaurant snd outdoor patio. Staff is very friendly. The food was delicious. Freshly made on order. Clean. There’s even shisha available too. A must visit and experience while visiting Jordan. Great for local crowd too. The place is big enough for a crowd or small groups. They also sell their own homemade jarred pickles, authentic Labaneh and other specialties. Prices are super reasonable too.

This fairly new art museum in Jordan is the Sami Hindiyeh Art Gallery just northwest of Amman, high up above Um ad Dananir and part of the Jalaad Cultural Center. A private collection is shown there, which opened in this location 2017, it is packed with a wide range of paintings, prints, drawings, and sculptures by many Arab artists from Jordan and Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia as well as a selection of prints by well known European artists. Very diverse material and well worth a look! Friendly staff will give you a tour of this multi leveled facility.

Jordan Heritage Madhafah is a beautiful 200 year heritage building where one can experience the traditional historic way of life living in the world heritage site city of Al Salt. It is minutes away from the traditional markets or souqs, the shrine and church of St. George, the museums and all what Al Salt promises and indulges its visitors with. Madhafah comes from Arabic and means the guest space with all what the Jordanian hospitality values that come with it and that we are proud to embody with our local hospitable staff. With amazing views, a traditional delicious breakfast, and an international level of facilities, this here is a place for a unique stay.
We stayed in Jordan Heritage Madhafa in As-salt a few weeks ago and really loved it there. I would absolutely recommend it to families and couples. Please be aware it’s on a very steep hill so maybe not appropriate for someone who struggles with walking. The room was clean. large with air conditioning. The views are of the city and are fabulous (Ask for a room with a balcony) This is semi run as a charity and there is a little shop selling local wares. The breakfast was fabulous and part of our booking.com package, please be aware, coffee and tea are charged as extras. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to friends.

A clean, spacious hotel. Staff were very helpful, when we could find them(!) The location meant that a taxi was the only realistic way to get to and from town. On occasion the driver required paying to come to collect us.
