Service is attentive and very competent, some of the servers have been there years and the experience shows. The food is from frozen unfortunately . The burger is cheap, shame not home made. Roll is poor and breaks up,either stale or previously frozen. The fries are of poor quality and mayo is in plastic tubes. The food experience does not match the service, shame,as service is 5/5..

This is my local coffee shop of which there are probably 4 in our town. However, I have to say the quality of the food matches the ambience and friendliness of Mark, Rosie and all the staff.....FIRST CLASS. you just have to try it.

A very nice Chinese restaurant with an extensive menu.It is situated upstairs at a busy shopping and garage area on the main road through Templepatrick.
We have visited Bambou twice now as it is one of the closest Chinese sit in restaurants to where I live. The Chinese is upstairs above other shops. There didn’t appear to be a lift which my cause difficulties for some. The actual restaurant has a large number of tables as well as a takeaway. We have always got a table no problem, even on a Saturday.
The menu is quite extensive and meals include a side order which is becoming a rarity in Chinese restaurants these days. Our meals were served pretty quickly, despite there being a large party of about 20 people behind us. The portions are generous and tasty. After dinner you are presented with a free, small plate of fruit. We found this unusual on our first visit here but thought it was a nice touch.
After finishing our fruit it took quite a while for us to receive our bill. We had to ask in the end and even getting someone’s attention took a while. Our two main courses and an extra side of chips along with 2 large soft drinks cost £31.70. This is pretty much average compared to other Chinese restaurants we visit. They do also offer seat meals.
I will definitely be back as it is the closest decent Chinese sit in to where I live.

Seen the reviews for here and thought, hey it would be nice to take my wife there for a nice coffee and a scone. Disappointed from the moment we walked through the door, now think of an old western time saloon where a cowboy walks in and everyone stops what they're doing to stare at him, well this was what it was like for my wife and I, felt like we walked into someones house uninvited, even the two girls behind the counter just stood and stared at us. Awkward!!! And so much for the "scones to die for" which someone left in another review, to say they were rotten is being generous, both our scones were like soggy dough. Safe to say we won't be back, better and cheaper sticking to your local Spar for a scone and coffee, and maybe you'll get service with a smile.

Called in to S/H to advance book, and advise I would provide in writing the table plan complete with each food order chosen from s/h web, re visited some days before event with menu request and table plan etc and was informed the menu was now updated? but it was only minor, to make sure that all was ok I then sent E/M marking it for Terry ( h/waiter on the day) reply received stating all was good On arrival I found Menu's were on the Table and Terry did not have the food choices that I had left in??. No table plan set out as agreed and now no details of our food order? had no choice but try and make the best of a bad situation so we proceeded to give our order AGAIN and yes there was only 3 changes and that could have been done discretely, Food arrived slowly with one mains so cold it had to go back in fact most of the dishes were little more than warm. not once did Terry visit our table to check if we were ok??. As I said this was a very special occasion and I had planned it so as nothing could go wrong, putting the event in the hands of S/Hollow, BIG MISTAKE. I did send a letter to the Proprietor, he passed it on, then I started getting messages, I took the time to write a detailed letter so one would expect a written response but once again S/H decides how they wish to treat their customer, I did agree to meet with management this morning, both my wife and myself tried to put our point across as to how a special evening was destroyed but alas it fell on deaf ears, all we got was that's how we do things, not even the offer of a cup of Coffee, but it was agreed that had they used the info as supplied by me then our party would have had a different outcome but they only use such info for parties over 20??, why was i not told that then my alarm would have gone off.enough said.

We had a meal here on Saturday evening. Couldn't fault the flavours or quality but my husband & son both had a 12oz sirloin steak & it looked more like a 8oz. My son had to get a pizza on the way home!! On Tuesday evening we had a meal in the Down Royal Golf club and they ordered 12 oz sirloin steaks the difference was very noticeable!! I had the piri piri chicken which was lovely I was able to eat it all which is very unusual for me. My son had pavlova and I have never seen a smaller portion! He had it eaten in 4 bites!! The prices were the same as Down royal but unfortunately the quantity left a lot to be questioned.

Great little pub not far from the M2. Portions are massive and priced really well. The staff are very attentive and offered half portions as I'm not a big eater, still didn't finish my half sized chicken goujons! The place can get busy especially at weekends and parking can be tricky. Best going around 12:30 for a good table and parking spot. Definitely worth stopping by the food is fantastic.

Browns has a very warm atmosphere with welcoming and friendly staff. There is an outdoor Seating area where your little fur babies are welcome... The coffee I must say is the best in Ballyclare and the caramel square are amazing... Would recommend browns to all my friends and family... We have visited on a number of occasions with larges family groups and the food has always been served together.

Cyblings has opened recently in Ballymoney and although it is situated on the outskirts of the town it is always busy. Parking is easy, no parking charges to worry about! It is a lovely homely place where you can enjoy a cooked breakfast, tea/coffee with scones or traybakes ( all baked on site) and a good selection of meals at lunchtime. There is ample choice, plenty of "craic" and a nice warm feeling about this place.
Go and sample it for yourself - it is really worth a visit!
