Maghernahar House B&B is a spacious, clean and comfortable family home offering just 3 rooms, situated between the seaside town of Ballycastle (4 miles) and Bushmills (6 miles). We are less than two miles from the coast,Perfectly placed for you to access all the beautiful sites and (Game Of Thrones) locations that this part of the Antrim Coast has to offer. Our two double rooms are en suite (shower),and our triple room has its own large private bathroom with freestanding bath and large shower. All bedding and towels are Egyptian cotton for a comfortable and peaceful nights sleep.
We spent 1 night at Martin's B&B and regretted not booking an extra night there. The room was spacious with 2 twinbeds, everything was spotless and clean. Big bathroom with complimentary shampoo/conditioner and toothpaste. The breakfast was just wonderful with a big selection of cereals, fresh berries, yogurts, juice and Martin was almost disappointed that we didn't want any eggs and bacon. And it was really quiet there. Not a sound :-) Definitely one of the best places that I have ever stayed at. Thanks Martin for a great stay. Your hospitality and place are really awesome.

Crockatinney Guest House is a bed and breakfast close to Ballycastle and the Giants Causeway, we are on the main causeway coastal route, it is the perfect place to explore the North Antrim Coast Rathlin, Giants Causeway, rope bridge and Bushmills distillery.
Recent reviews and web site pictures persuaded us that this would be a good B&B. We were disappointed. There was no-one around when we arrived, but we found a note with a phone number to call: The dead plants on the landing and corridor gave an uncared for impression, that persisted throughout our stay. We could not operate the TV easily, and the range of channels was limited - no BBC 1 or 2. Moving on, the shower was shabby/dirty as was the hand basin with no plug! Breakfast was very limited, with no alternative offered to an Irish plate that arrived with no discussion as to what we might like/not like. We left as we arrived, with little interest shown (unusual in Northern Ireland) Regrettably the website description flatters, compared to what we experienced.

Very clean, comfortable room with welcome brownies and fluffy dressing gowns. Lovely facilities, views and just about the best host you could ever wish for in Natasha. Nothing was any trouble to her and when they say dog friendly, the mean dog very friendly. We also had our 16 month old grandson with us and he was nearly as welcome as the dogs?. Breakfast was excellent, varied and plentiful. Juices, fresh fruit, cereals, toast, jam and a great Ulster fry. Felt so welcome and was able really relax - thank you so much Natasha from Trew, Michael, baby Fíonn and the two dogs, oonagh and Aoife.

We did not actually stay, however I thought it worth making an excellent review in the circumstances. We had booked, but had to cancel our entire trip a couple of days out due to an acute family illness. Despite being beyond the cancellation policy period, they agreed o waive the fee, I am guessing on compassionate grounds. I therefore recommend this business as customer friendly and ethical, which is not always the case, in todays world. We intend to stay if we get to go to Northern Ireland in the future.

We had a great experience at the Glass Island B&B, which was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and conveniently located within walking distance of multiple pubs/restaurants/shops. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful - they also served the best traditional Irish breakfast of our entire trip. We would definitely stay here again!

We as two couples stayed here for 2 nights and I have to say we had a great stay. Before we even arrived Jennifer give us a call to give us directions. We arrived and was met by Jennifer and joe who are a lovely couple, we where shown to our rooms an explained where everything was, then showed us how the shower worked as there is an en-suite in the front upstairs room and one in the room downstairs. We where then showed the dining room and asked about our breakfast preferences (times) etc. Really modern and kept clean property, the beds where comfortable and there are televisions in all rooms with plenty of channels to watch. Breakfast well what can I say, I mean amazing if you love an Ulster fry, our just cereal, a little fruit, toast or different types of bread this definitely is the place to come you certainly will not go away in the morning hungry. Jennifer and joe has a lot of knowledge of the area and where very helpful in recommending places to eat and have a drink in the evening time. This B&B is well situated, it is around a 10 minute walk down to the sea front one way and the other way is around a 10 minute walk and will take you down to the centré of Ballycastle town. I have to state the b&b is on a height that is why I say down. You can stroll back up to the b&b ether way and it probably takes around 15/20 minutes, we took the car and there are plenty of parking places, but Joe offered to give us a lift down and even pick us up and that was very kind of him. A taxi up from the town is around £4.50. Definitely recommend this property and would return again. Thanks Jennifer and Joe.

Modern self catering unit
We stayed here for 3 days while on a horse riding treck in the area. The rooms are a touch small for 2 but quaint and well appointed, The communal kitchen/living room area gives you a nice place to sit and relax outside your room. The breakfast provided is absolutely delicious. You aren't too far from town if you want to pop down to the pub. The only thing I would say I missed would be a public telephone to be able to call a cab if necessary. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here.
