We went to this place as we had read so many positive reviews which dont't reflect the truth of experience you will get there. First, you are received with a very arrogant attitude, the owner complains how hard they are working and how busy they are. "Take it or leave it!" attitude makes you feel bad and annoyed. Service is also insufficient: you need to go inside yourself to pick up bread, ice etc as they may not bring your order. I dont think that they deserve the stars of the reviews and the prices they charge. Speaking of the prices, you don't know what costs how much before you get the check. I would not recommend this place unless you can tolerate rude and ridiculous attittude.

Nice cosy fish restaurant with the beautiful sunset. Delicious side dishes with Turkish Raki. Lovely service peolpe acompanieing .
Deniz Yildiz is a classic meyhane, with all the day's dishes on display in a large glassfronted refridgerator, including all the usual meze, but also local "ot" dishes, made from local "wild" greens. There are also some specialities to this restaurant, big field mushrooms stuffed with seafood and topped with cheese and as mentioned in my title, the most delicious, tender octopus served on beÄendi, a smoky eggplant puree. It is worth going to Deniz Yildiz for this dish alone. Your waiter or the maitre d' will guide you through each of the dishes to help you make your choice. The restaurant is lively and mostly filled by locals. The staff were attentive and helpful. A blazing fire in the restaurant adds to the atmosphere, and everything is top quailty and spotless. Add on top of that a very reasonable bill at the end of the evening, and I cannot wait to go back. It is tucked away in a small street in the centre of town, but most navigation maps will guide you there easily. Important to note that you need to drop in or call to make a reservation on weekend evenings.

Did you ever eat meatballs? Did you ever eat Cop Sis? Cine Meatballs, perfect taste from Aydin is now in Ayvalik.
Tasty meatballs and ayran, Yeliz Hanım takes the orders and makes the service in the place, always good when the owner is around in such places. One portion of meatballs may not be enough for a male as they are small but tasty. Good for a dinner or lunchThank you very much
