Shima was pretty quiet when we went, it should be busier - the food is awesome, the chef was great, itâs lots of fun.We had our kids with us and the staff were very accommodating - our son got behind the hot plate with the chef and cooked some of our food.Teppanyaki needs great quality ingredients cooked perfectly and it didnât disappoint. Would go back. The giant prawns and tuna were the highlight Thank you for visiting Shima, I am so very pleased you enjoyed the experience and thank you for your very complimentary review. The tuna avocado tataki appitizer set us up for a fall; it was a great balance of textures, including crumbled, deep fried salmon skin. Unfortunately, the rice for the beef bowl was under cooked and the rice for the chiraishi was too wet. Some thing that should never happen in a Japanese restaurant. Needless to say we went away disappointed and unsatiated...
