It was difficult to find the place where the restaurant is situated. Obviously TripAdvisor is not able to indicate the right place. The restaurant is in Amed, not Amlapura. But that's another story. The ambiance of the Bistrot may not be as cozy as you would imagine in a bistrot in France, but at least you sit in an airy room and can relax on the comfortable benches of the tables. The selection of dishes is manageable, which was already positive for us. We chose a homemade Paté de campagne a l'armagnac and for the main course Boeuf Bourguignon and Civet de Porcelet. Both cooked in red wine and served with plenty of sauce. Excellent! Finally there was the citrus tart, also home-made, which rounded off the positive eating experience. You couldn't eat better and more authentic in a bistro in France! A small drawback is the comparatively uninspired beverage menu. There's unfortunately no wine from France. All in all, however, the Bistrot is an extremely welcome change in the restaurant landscape of the Amed region!
Popped into Warung Mantap for dinner and glad we did.The place was empty but we are early eaters so that didn't bother us. The venue is still quite new so the tables and chairs are in good condition.Entree of Spring Rolls and there was nothing frozen about them. Clean fresh and crispy with a large serving. We also had a prawn cocktail which was just as fresh, although the warm cooked prawns were a bit unexpected. Both were clean, fresh and plentiful though.Fish steak and Pork with sweet/sopur suace for mains. Again clean and fresh large sized servings. Staff very friendly. It's not five star and white table cloths, but it's a roadside warung in Amed. We were pleasantly surprised with the size and quality of the meals. So much so we will be back for sure.

Our Warung is located right near the beach next to viena beach and shankara villas and we also provide balinese, indonesian and european food type and our Warung also have beautiful sea view to see sunset or sunrise
We went for lunch. The menu is rather limited compared to other restaurants around. The price are very affordable. We tried Nasi Campur, Nasi Goreng and Chicken Satay. All were tatsy but it took along time to get the dishes. Views are great. You can enter via the beach or by the road. It is a warung and not a restaurant
