Busy bar and restaurant, located right on the beach, friendly staff, but busy so expect a wait for your food if you didnât order off the daily specials or a paella. However, who cares, Iâm on my holidays and donât have anywhere else to be! Beer is cold, food is good (as ever with these places try to eat the ârealâ food and not the mass produced tourist pap). Would advise to book a table when you first get down to the beach and then just enjoy a lazy afternoon before going back in the sea to cool off.

Only stopped for some fries and the chicken burger as wasn't feeling too hungry but the food came quick and was nice enough. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great view of the beach.

Excellent food, fixed price meals available 14.50 euros. Great food and choices. Friendly atmosphere,
Went here twice during a recent stay in Son Bou. First time okay with reasonable food and friendly waitress. Second time we we're told they were not doing food even though it was mid afternoon and the menu boards were still out. The guy who served us (the owner??), was miserable and surly and when I asked him to order a taxi I thought his world had ended !!. Other reviews seem to be quite positive fir this place so maybe we got him on a bad day.We certainly wouldn't go in again, but he needs to cheer up.

My family ate here tonight. We had a good table overlooking the sea and were looked after straight away.Food was good, service was also good but drinks were a bit pricey (â¬4 for a large coke is quite expensive).A nice place to eat if you're lucky enough to plan the meal to coincide with the sunset.

Been twice to this restaurant and first time ordered the menu had good mussels and good menorca prawns, but the the fried fish was horrible, uneatable, seems they got the fish no one wanted. Second time had the lobster was really good with fries and fried eggs

I found Son Bou really soul-less - not much there and apart from the Buddha Bar they reminded me of saloon bars but in a modern style. This place was so pretty with gorgeous views and the seafood divine. The staff were delightful - happy and the men smelt very nice :)
Where to eat International food in Alaior: The Best Restaurants and Bars

The village has numerous bars and restaurants, and in the week we tried most. All were ok, some disappointing but all had, remarkably clean toilets! The best food was El Pulpo (the octopus?). From previous reviews it seemed service was the only issue but as we went in the off season - late September, it was quiet so no service problems at all. Its in a central location and most customers were choosing to eat outside under the trees and illuminated lights. The food was the best we had in town. Whether its fresh fish or chicken, it was very good and very tasty.Prices are on par with UK.Recommended.
