Reviews on Indian food in Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. The dreamy island that provided inspiration to Chopin and Miró now has a reputation as a spring break beach destination. Don't worry, though, if you're vacationing over elementary school spring break-- there's plenty for the younger crowd. Marineland's dolphin and sea lion shows and children's beach attract families. And if you have a Thomas-obsessed toddler, the antique train that travels between Palma and Soller is a must-see.

Stylish restaurant in a beautiful corner building in Santa Catalina. Shahin the proprietor/chef is rightly proud of his cooking. No pre made sauces, no food colourings, no cream, this is Indian home cooking to a high degree. There is no menu, just a selection of differently priced set menus which vary from day to day. Four of us went at lunchtime and went for the menu del dÃa at â¬16.50, we paid an extra one euro to change the plain nan to Peshawari. First course, pumpkin flower (from his organic allotment) pakora and mixed vegetable bhaajis. Served with a green salad with a wonderful spicy tamarind dressing. Perfect batter, crisp bhaajis, very tasty. Second course tandoori chicken legs and beef kofta kebabs. No red colour, gorgeous herby smoky flavour. Served with two delicious naans Third course you choose between chicken, venison, beef or dhal. On the dearer menus you can mix them up but on menu del dÃa everyone has the same. We went for chicken, this day it was chicken korma. A delicious mild curry with almonds it bore no resemblance to the creamy slop we get in UK. The pilau rice was wonderful. No colouring but my, the flavour! Good enough to eat on its own. We got water and a bottle of red wine included. Fabulous food and an absolute bargain. Itâs rated number two Indian in Palma. Iâve been to the number one and itâs a joke. This place is world class and if you appreciate good food Iâd urge you to go.

Visited here on Saturday while in Alcúdia and it was perfect. Both our meals were absolutely perfect. The place started getting relatively busy while we were there and from overhearing some orders it appeared every curry ordered was noted with the heat each customer wanted it. Ours both medium were definitely both medium. Very nice setting created in the restaurant and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Namstee welcomes in the heart of Alcudia, We strive to bring you the most authentic Indian Cuisine complemented by Indian decor and elegant warm service.
Iâve been to a few Indian restaurants and had more takeaways than I care to remember but this was the best food I have ever tasted. They asked me how hot I wanted my food and I replied âbetween medium and hotâ it came absolutely perfect. I had chicken tikka chilli masala with coconut rice. The cheese and garlic nan are to die for. A little bit more than we normally pay but well worth it. Portion sizes are plenty and all food was piping hot. Cannot recommend enough.
