Fogoneu is a new restaurant in an historical building that was a cinema in the years 50s. Our kitchen is based on local, fresh ans seasonal products. We recomend to try our 5 courses tasting menu

Me and my wife went last night with our three daughters. Could not have been lovelier. We had the tasting menu for four of us and my youngest daughter had the childrenâs menu which was all home cooked fresh food. Overall a great experience. High quality food, wine and service. Could not recommend highly enough for a special occasion. Thank you very much for your opinión, happy you enjoyed our tasting menú, we change it every two weeks. Hope to see you soon

Just spent a lovely evening sitting outside with Hubble and children/practically adults. Service was great, just there when you needed them, so not all over you. Specials were explained in detail. Staff friendly. We shared a couple of starters which were fresh and lovely. All had different mains. My daughter opted for the calamari which was a starter but they served as a main, so very flexible.. everyone enjoyed their food. Spent our anniversary dinner there 7 years ago and it is so much better!!

My friend loves ceviche and I love American cheesecake, yet we both adored the wasabi ice cream. This place is great for lunch and dinner too.

We had a reservation for two on the patio at 7PM, and arrived 15-20 minutes early, intending to have a cocktail before dinner. The hostess seemed surprised to see us and asked us to wait, then somewhat pointlessly grabbed a reserved sign and went to put it on a table, before leading us to the table. Only a few other guests were there. Iâm a big guy, 189cm, 107kg, size 36â jeans, and the seat of the plastic chairs at our table were just too cramped and uncomfortable for me. Luckily another type of chair was available at some of the other tables, so I asked our waiter if we could switch chairs and was told no, we should count ourselves lucky to even have got a table, according to our waiter (despite our reservation?!). Inexplicably our waiter then proceeded to address me in German - which I speak, but Iâm Danish and prefer English. We got up and left.Dear Peter, We appreciate you have taken your time to share your experience at our restaurant with us, your opinion matters as help us to improve our service in order to give the best experience to our customers. We are really sorry for the misunderstood regarding you request in switching your chair, we can't apologise enough. Everything about this was just perfect. The service was exceptional, the food devine and the restaurant setting was modern and cool.This was our first visit but will return when we are next on the island.There is a good selection of food and drinks at a reasonable price.

So the plan had been to go to Palma, mooch around for a bit window shopping, having a drink and watching the world go by, and then find a restaurant and round the evening off with a lovely meal, then drive back to the villa in to Pollenca. So we did the first bit, had a very expensive drink in a very noisy part of the city (Manto Negro is the bar, one orange juice came with a hair in it. I don't recommend the bar, and certainly wasn't going to try the food!). I had foolishly assumed that we could rock up to a restaurant and get a table. This is what we'd been doing all holiday in Pollenca and Alcudia, so I thought the same principle would apply in Palma. WRONG! Don't go to eat in Palma without a reservation. So we cut our losses and plotted a route home, by now it was getting late, so we decided to stop off in Inca to try our luck there (Ah! the joy and simple efficiency of the internet,Trip Advisor, Google Maps and a 19 year old tech savvy son! Rom4ani as you might guess is sort of Italian but with a Mallorcan twist. This was the first time we encountered a waitress who couldn't help us by speaking English, so we really felt we were getting a reasonably authentic experience. It didn't help that she gave us the English menu but then didn't understand what we were asking for, so we had enormous fun trying to translate. We're still giggling about my son's attempt to act out a pork steak, complete with noises! As you might expect, the speed of service was traditionally Spanishly slow, and it was a late night when we left our slice of serendipity and headed back to Pollenca. The tuna fish arrived VERY rare, which was as expected, althouh the fact that it was cold in the middle did not please my mother, and she sent it back. I had the rabbit (no acting needed,I'd learned it was conejo a few days earlier) which was excellent.

Ofrecen menú cerrado de degustación a muy buen precio. Opción de carta disponible. Fuimos a comer un grupo de amigas y fue una buena elección. En mi caso tengo intolerancias alimentarias y tras avisar al chef me adapto el menú degustación para mÃ. Pude comer y disfrutar el menú completo que de hecho estaba riquÃsimo. Atención buena y servicio muy agradable. Repetiré seguro. Como mejora quizás la luz, el restaurante es poco luminoso. Decoración sencilla pero acogedor. Recomendable. Entre semana hacen menú diaria más económico.
