This area is one of the most expensive I have visited in the. Balearic Islands, this appears to be one of the best restaurants in the area but â¬20 for a Sunday lunch is exhobitant, I had the 3 meats and the pork and beef were cut wafer thin but still had bits of bone in them, the lamb shoulder was tough in places, I am told they do a good fish and chips on a Wednesday but at â¬15 I will give it a miss. Worth noting if you book a table you get your first round of drinks free, and at these prices it needs to be.

We visited as a family of 6. Grandparents, parents and children early evening. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Our fussy grandchildren loved their food and amazed us by how much they ate. The paella our daughter and husband chose was the best Iâve ever tasted, and Iâve had a few. All in all we had a fabulous meal. The waiters were so attentive. They even suggested bringing the childrenâs food out early as the paella would take a while. We felt like truly valued guests throughout. We thought the whole thing was excellent value for money and if it hadnât been our last night, we would have been back again.

We have made the Menorcan cuisine tasting menu, which we recommend to all to be a very balanced menu of traditional dishes. We want to emphasize the perfect service, knowledge of the products, the attention and the kindness with which we have attended. Nice, quiet, very nice place and affordable prices. An indispensable visit.

The Tast is located on a central place in Es Mercadal. In summer you will sit outside. The food is very tasty and based on a fine elaborated cusine. One of the best restaurants for gourmets in Menorca !

We visited this afternoon with friends for tapas and were really impressed by the quality and quantity of food served by the happy welcoming host - Miguel. Nothing was too much trouble and his attention to detail was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the fun and were not disappointed by the pudding he persuaded us the order. We will return soon. We cannot recommend this little restaurant highly enough. Value for money was great. Gracias Miguel!

My wife and I had lunch here last Monday. The restaurant was pretty full of locals which is always a good sign. Nevertheless the service was efficient, if not overly friendly, and the food well prepared, tasty, and of ample proportion. The only thing you need to watch for, however, is the head waiter converting the card payment to pounds without asking. Perhaps he thought he was being helpful to someone who couldn't understand euros!

Been travelling to Menorca for many years, but first time to this restaurant in Es Mercadel. Slightly cautious when we entered as there was nobody else around, however it quickly filled up and we enjoyed excellent food and good service. Will definitely return again in future.

It is a rustic house, situated in Es Mercadal, where it is pleasant and welcoming equipped with air conditioning and an outdoor terrace in summer, inside the house itself is a lounge with capacity for 20 22 nice people a ready-made daily on the kitchen me
This bistro was delightful. Charming service, lovely atmosphere, good food, good wine list..............All of us chose from the set menu and were not disappointed. The suckling pig was excellent but the portion was enormous. There were six of us and I wonât detail everything we ate - we had a very good evening and came away feeling rather full.We were recommended by Inntravel to try this bistro and it was only a short walk from the hotel where we were staying in the old part of Es Mercadal.I would recommend this bistro as well.

Have been to Menorca scores of times but never to this magical place. Set in the most atmospheric surroundings you could ever imagine there is an aura of peace and tranquility surrounding the dining area and it would be impossible to think of a more relaxing place in which to dine and totally `unwind`.The food is good with a wide enough choice to suit most palates, a good selection of wines available and the staff are superb, being helpful, friendly and charming at all times.Set in the hills a few miles out of Mercadal this is one of those special places that travelers encounter very rarely and if afforded the chance please try this wonderful establishment.
