Well, from the moment we arrived we were showered with warm welcome and genuine friendliness. We were extremely fortunate to be served by the owner of S'Amfora (and Syrah).I looked around at what other customers were having and I wanted go try something different and new. I asked the owner (a very smart and gentle man) about their Black Paella. He explained it was a seafood paella without shellfish and it was black due to the squid ink they cook it in which gives it a rich and amazing taste.I have to be honest, it wasn't particularly pleasing to the eye when it arrived but my word it was the best paella I've ever tasted! Cooked to absolute perfection and this amazing new flavour blew my mind. Absolutely stunning!!!The restaurant is clean, tidy and very well presented. The staff are very professional and proud of their reputation - and so they should be! We loved this place and would have frequented more had we not descovered it on our last evening in Alcudia.Very well done Team S'Amfora - we are extremely impressed and will boast about our experience.

After looking for paella at the now closed Lovento, this was the next choice. The seafood paella was really very good, although I would have preferred the no "ciega" version with all of the prawn heads and shells as this is all part of the experience.I guess they do it this way for those that don't want to get their fingers dirty.Dear Mark, Thanks a lot for coming and sharing your opinion on this website! We are happy to receive your positive comments of our seafood paella. For the next time, we prepare it ciega and normal too ;)Have a wonderful week!

Temporary closed CLOSED UNTIL MAY 10th
This restaurant was right next to our hotel - Petit Hotel Hostatgeria La Victoria. Due to the weather we didn't see the great views. It looks like it would be heaven at sunset. We arrived quite late but were given wonderful service from the kind lady. The croquette starter was superb. Very good quality, in fact the best croquette I had tasted. The main of Fish a la mallorquÃn was very tasty. The veg just made you want to savoir every mouthful. The suckling pig was basic but nicely cooked and tasty enough. I guess I would have liked a sauce of some kind, but I am unsure of the traditional way.I think I could have had 2 courses of croquettes ;-)

Weâve visited this charming restaurant many times. The food, especially seafood, has always been outstanding but this experience was poor. Seated on the terrace we found ourselves seated next to a small table used by smokers. This was far too close for comfort and came as a real disappointment. On complaint we just got a shrug with kind of âtough, this is Spainâ Then, a fan was started up blowing directly at our table. To be fair the waiter did ask if it was to strong but quite frankly all it did was make us cold and more particularly our food. We did wonder if it was a result of complaining about the smokers. The owner didnât seem to be working that evening and overall it was missing some direction. Weâve had some great evenings here but last night it wasnât.

Our annual trip to the island and our annual visit to Sa Taverna. Greeted like old pals by the genial owner, and made to feel like royalty throughout. The food, as always, was excellent, the steak in particular, served with a bit of theatre. Well recommended wines too. We wonât stop visiting.

Fabulous food, one of the best steaks ever, top quality seafood, everything fresh. Only in Alcudia for 4 nights and spent two of them here. Service fantastic. The owner is totally charming and could not be more helpful. Waiter equally fantastic. I will be a returning customer!

Excellent fish & chip shop and bar in the popular port of Alcudia. Family owned for 4 years with excellent reviews. Traditional chippy serving a wide range of food including a kids menu and a full bar. Ask for dietary requirements, not gluten free.
We came upon Lloyd's Chippy by accident when out for a walk one hot afternoon. We stopped and ate one of the best plates of fish chips and peas I have had in many a year. Great value too! A real tribute to its Welsh owners!

The Blue Sapphire Restaurant offers a wide range of Mediterranean dishes always made with seasonal products, fish from the bay, top quality meats, vegetables from our land and all presented with a personal touch of its experienced Chef.
I read elsewhere that the restaurant is cosy which gave the impression itâs small but thereâs plenty of space.Lobster soup was delicious and dates in bacon were as expected. The grilled squid seemed a little chewy and would have benefited from a bit more chargrilled bits.We felt the John Dory was a little over cooked- just didnât seem quite right. That said the servings were big and plentiful.Caution - thereâs a picture of paella on this restaurant in trip advisor and they donât do paella. The floor tiles in the paella pic are not the tiles in the restaurant so clearly taken elsewhere!
