Things to do in Mulege
This restaurant is easy to pass up. Heading south on highway 1 about 4 miles south of Mulegé, this place is on the west side of the road. There is a Pemex station just a few hundred feet south of Sr. Gecko. Anyways, great Mexican food and a good place to stop and get lunch if youâre traveling. I had a scollop (callo) cocktail which was very good. My partner had Machaca con huevos and it was great. If I ever stay in Mulegé, I will try dinner. But definitely stop for lunch.

We had breakfast there. My friend is vegetarian and she found something she could eat.She had the mushroom and cheese omelette.I had the seafood omelette, it had shrimp and scallops in it.First we were served a bowl of fresh fruit, (okay, maybe it was a small bowl).I had coffee and my friend had jamicai tea, (which is hibiscus flowers). It was very good, we will certainly be back.

We stopped here to get some blown glass ornaments. It was a friend's birthday. They have some great glass ornaments made by a local guy. Of course, we couldn't have stopped without having a margarita. We saw some lunches being served, they were great looking. One couple was vegetarian, and their meal looked wonderful, even a meat eater would want their meal.

We gathered to hear Dwayne sing. It's always a good time when Dwayne sings.I had the French Dip, as always do, pictured below. You can't beat the French Dip. They really cater to gringos. The waiter speeks great English. He spilts his tips with the kitchen, so you are not tripping just him,It's employee owned

If you want good, flavorful Mexican food you need to eat at Los Equipales. The shrimp with garlic was delicious, cooked to simple perfection. The seafood soup had a good variety of seafood and was in a delicious broth. When we return will eat in Mulege more often, wish we had discovered this spot earlier. Donât snack before you arrive as the portions are generous. The staff was welcoming and friendly.
