We were excited to try this place that is so highly rated. Stopped for lunch. Very small inside,three tables and only inches apart. After looking at the menu I was slightly surprised at their prices, high in my opinion. While waiting to order we were forced to listen to the person sitting at the table next to us talking loudly on his cell phone. He was ensconced with computer and cell phone talking business. We decided that it wasn't the atmosphere we wanted to endure while dining. When the waitress/owner came over to take our order we apologized and explained why we were leaving. She apologized. I felt bad for her that she lost business because of the situation. They need to decide if they want to be an internet cafe where people sit for hours nursing a coffee drink or a restaurant.Where to begin? Ok. Greetings. Thank you for your comments, because you spent much more time on your review than in our place. Because of that I am confident to say that you are truly unqualified to comment our place and certainly we do not deserve such a bad and unjust review. Itâs true we are not a nice ( stylish, graceful, tasteful, refined, sophisticated, cultivated, distinguished, classic,fashionable, modish, decorous, beautiful, artistic, aesthetic) place. We are literally a âHole in the wallâ and we love it and our proud of it. We are a family owned place, and the only thing worth of our place is the food and the service. You canât tell because you didnât stay enough to notice. If you reckon our prices are high then your up for a big surprise in Cabo San Lucas. Everywhere is just too expensive. We are certainly not. You were on bad luck because the one and only time we had a customer on a computer talking business on a cellphone was that day precisely when you arrived. That customer was very kind, thoughtful and grateful with our place. We make our best to serve with excellence every and each one of our customers. Sometimes we fail. You didnât give the chance to Jessica the waiter and all the staff in the kitchen and coffee station to prove it. We are really sorry we couldnât make up to you for the bad impression but sadly you didnât give us the chance either. All we do, the cooking the service, the friendly approach with our customers is because we are very blessed by our Lord. All we are is by the grace of God. We are sorry we couldnât meet your expectations. We are sorry we failed to make you happy and satisfied in Café de Ciudad. Maybe next time you will be tolerant enough to stay longer in our place. Our visit to La Taquiza (group of 6) was magnificent. Our waiters were attentive, witty, fun and brought our food and drinks promptly. Everyone loved what they ordered. I had been searching for great Chile Rellenos for years, and the chef at La Taquiza nailed it. The textures and flavors were perfect. The cheese was velvety, the chile was tangy and tasty, and the batter was well cooked. We all enjoyed our appetizers, including a specialty cheese crisp that is essentially a large disk of grilled cheese rolled up and served so you can break off chips of salty, rich goodness to enjoy with your cerveza. We loved the atmosphere, even early in the day, and would happily visit again.

A great breakfast / brunch spot! It's 5 blocks from the town plaza on the one-way street that's heading away from the Marina. Very cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating & friendly attentive staff that were very nice & helpful. We ordered the Glendale - Cinnamon Roll French toast with fruit, bacon, scrambled egg & potatoes and the California Pancakes which came with eggs, bacon or sausage & fruit. I would normally not order pancakes cause you can make at home so easy but the reviews on Yelp and how fluffy they were intrigued me & I was not disappointed! Both meals were presented beautifully and tasted fantastic! We will be returning. We easily could have shared either meal but wanted to try both & left quite a bit of food. We loved the "iced sugar" that was served with the syrup in a glass serving bottle and it was delicious on the pancakes in small amounts. One thing to note - the steps in the seating area upstairs are def not ADA compliant by US standards My wife didn't see one step on the way out and took a little spill. Thankfully she wasn't hurt. :) it wouldn't deter us from returning we'd just be more aware next time. We enjoyed the outdoor seating & would want a table there again.

Fantastic little inexpensive cafe serving breakfasts, lunches and 'real' cappucino. Owner is European and has serves authentic waffles. A little gem of a place with seating for about 15.

Excellent place for the price, all plates teste real Mexican, coffee and juice are also really good!! Fully recommend this place. Parking around the place is expensive, it is better to walk to the place if you can.
