Across the port from Hotel Ganzo and next to the Swim with the Dolphins you do need a car to visit from the San Jose hotel district. We went for breakfast, had great food and really enjoyed the casual and peaceful ambience. The staff were very friendly and when asked if all was well, we commented we weren't too keen on the choice of music being played. We were then introduced to a pile of LP's and along with the boss chose some great mellow jazz, which only added to our good time. After breakfast we enjoyed wandering the walking path along the water looking at the boats and the art work.

We love the atmosphere and food at Acre. I'm vegan and Acre has excellent vegan options. I enjoyed the Beet Tartare, the vegan buns and the vegan brownie and sorbet. The drinks were excellent. The service was very good and we even got a tour of one of the treehouses while we were there.Dear Jennifer, thank you so much for your visit and we appreciate your feedback on our vegan dishes. Staying at La Costa put us in close proximity to Fish & Grill, so it was our choice for our first evening in San Jose del Cabo. My partner chose the scallops in garlic and white wine saucune. It was so delicious, he mopped up the sauce after the succulent scallops were gone. I chose the mixed seafood cocktail, made from a family recipe quite different from the Clamato versions from northern Mexico. It was so full of scallops, squid and shrimp that I could barely finish it. So delicious. I've heard that the sea bass is exquisite, also. The staff is very attentive and kind. The red fruit salad was outstanding. We loved the tiny sterno burner with clove studded limes to combat the few flies. Wonderful location for Thursday night art walk. We came very early in the day but had a great lunch with an artful presentation of corn ice cream. While exploring the marina at San Jose del Cabo we came across the Drunken Sailor and decided to stop in. So glad that we did! The food was absolutely fantastic, the beers were cold and the service was excellent. We sat up top and had a view of the beautiful marina. Very reasonably priced and very friendly atmosphere.
