The food was Ok, is not what somepeople sell us. What is true is that is very expensive and was poorley presented. The place is not really glamorous or comfortable. I was really hoping for a tasteful experience and very good service but they lack of both. Not coming back ever

This restaurant is the right mix between Peruvian and Mexican style seafood. The mixed tacos are superb and the tiraditos and Aguachiles are great as well. If you are in town and like seafood this is your placeThank you for your comment! It is very important to us to know our customer´s experience. Ambar in Mexicali is a very gracious restaurant which brings the bounty of Baja to the table in a modern and elegant space. The talented chef/owner, Esteban Lluis, comes to the table to share his vision of Ambar and his wonderful food, based on local ingrediants and herbs from his own garden---you will not find frozen Dover Sole Meuniere at Ambar! The service is well timed and efficient, and Fernando never lets my glass of Casa de Piedra Contraste go empty. The menu is broad and varied, and if you so request, a multi-course tasting menu can be provided, which was a delight from the beginning salmon/avocado/green apple appetizer to the inventive composed dessert. But the most important fact of all is that Esteban Lluis has brought his heart and soul into his creation of Ambar, and we, as his customers, as his new-found friends, can partake in that excitement and pleasure whenever we dine at Ambar.

This was my first time here and I really enjoy my visit. Customer service was excellent and the food i ordered was very good. I ordered a Parillada, for 2 people, which had 3 kinds of meats and âTripitasâ It came with a side of beans and guacamole. Their fideo soup was delicious! I would definitely return again.

parece que cerveza artesanal es sinonimo de jardin, o almacen, ambos sin aire acondicionado, y puerco salvaje si tiene, aunado que lo que probe de cocina (pizza, alitas) estaban muy ricas y ademas mucha variedad de cerveza
