We have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed by the food or the service. The meals and wine list are very reasonably priced. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere for dining out with family and/or friends of all ages. One word of warning though, you need to be able to climb stairs so this restaurant is not wheelchair friendly.

A really nice refreshing change from the standard pub meals.
We had a great lunch here with the S&P calamari, risotto and gummy shark - good local wines on offer. I loved the decor and the history - converted from an old stable. There was also a nice courtyard but a little too hot outside at the time we dined. Loved our meals here we wanted to return a couple of days later but they were closed for lunch :-(
Definitely would return again.

Established in 1889, the Grand Terminus Hotel in Bairnsdale is an architectural icon in the area. The menu focuses on pub favourites, with a large emphasis on sourcing and using local produce and wines. Our philosophy is to support smaller producers who have embraced a passion for the particular product that they make and those that feel similarly excited about what East Gippsland has to offer. The Grand Terminus Hotel is open 7 days serving casual meals in the Bar from 11.30am to 9.30pm and table service in the Bistro from 11.30am to 2.30pm for lunch and Dinner service from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. The Grand Terminus Hotel continues to offer accommodation upstairs, with 12 rooms available seven days a week, 365 days a year. Check in from 2pm Check out by 10am We are a family owned and operated establishment that also offers a TAB, drive through Bottle Shop and Gaming facilities.
This local weekly regular noticed a change.. sadly meals declined - drink refill offered in a used glass-need to look after locals for the “off season” like in the past.
Many changes all around.

This was our first visit back to The Main since reopening and we wish we hadn't waited so long. The dining room has a little face lift and the different tables and chairs are a nice touch. We were seated promptly and there was no wait for drinks, and as an added touch throughout the evening bar staff did tend our table and take orders.
We had entree and main, and we also had a kids fish and chips. Firstly the kids fish and chips was delicious, one of the few times our daughter had cleaned her plate, the kids meal also comes with dessert.
For entree we had fried chicken and arancini balls, both presented lovely and easily shareable. Perfect size for entree and both dishes were sensational. For main we had the crispy lamb which was divine and a good size, and the chicken parmigiana. The chicken parma was a little different take on the traditional pub parma but it was lovely, a nice size with salad which wasn't drowned in dressing therefore being able to enjoy the salad.
The staff were friendly and the wait for service was minimal. Our wait times for meals were fine, enough time to know that we were going to be served freshly cooked meals not some pre cooked meals waiting to be served from a bain marie. We were in no hurry but from arrival to departure was 2 hours and we did sit and enjoy the live music which was at a level that you could still comfortably talk.
We found the pricing to be reasonable for our dishes and we will definitely be eating there again soon.

Two Spoons Asian restaurant serves a variety of Chinese and Malaysian lunch and dinner and we are able to vary anything on the menu to satisfy your eating requirements. We have gluten free, vegetarian meal options as well. We look forward to you dining with us.
Have been a few times now for lunch and have enjoyed it.
Plenty of choices on the lunch menu and good prices. The place is not as noisy as most others and the atmosphere is good.
This is now one of my regular lunch spots alone or with friends.

This was a quick stop this morning, before setting off once again on a road trip. The place was buzzing and everyone looked happy with their food. I tried the special - an egg and bacon muffin, hash brown and small coffee. Fast, hot, tasty. A good price, too.
