The third-largest of Germany’s 16 provinces both in terms of size and population, Baden-Wurttemberg in the country’s southwest borders both France and Switzerland and is home to the Black Forest, Heidelberg, Mannheim and Stuttgart. In many areas, residents speak Swabian (Schwäbisch) or Badisch, dialects so strong that speakers of standard German can find them difficult to understand. I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. They have gender neutral bathrooms ??♥️ the room was clean and the kitchen and lounge area are spacious and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful and I also had a place to park my car. A fridge to store my food and a reading light. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay ?❤️

As hostel guest you have the privilege to use our great Wellness' system and to draw from the abundance of offerings for your body and your soul and to draw from the abundance of offerings for your body and your soul. Accommodation in bright dormitories with bunk beds and a single and double rooms, for groups we are not set up. Please note: Considering the external guests it is mandatory that outside the changing areas the facility is used undressed.
I stayed 2 nights in the 9 bed dorm. It was a lovely comfortable bed and the mattress was perfect for my bad back. The room was sufficiently airy with open windows which secured a good nights sleep. The hostel is a 10 minuets walk from shops and bar etc. The hostel itself serves only vegetarian options. In the building itself they serve local beers for €2 per bottle which I enjoyed very much. The showers are indeed unisex containing approx 8 cubicles HOWEVER they are sufficiently private as each stall (apart from two stalls) have fully enclosed doors maintaining shy guests dignity. The optional spa is further through a door from the shower room and is “without clothes” and contains an outside pool and 2 saunas , a steam room and a couple of rainfall style showers. The entire area is within a natural setting and a very pleasant experience as nobody is judging anyone as everyone there is in the same state (undressed) . The staff were extremely helpful and made suggestions on local area activities etc and also there is a FREE bike rental service station at the entrance to the property allowing ease of exploration around the local area. Fully recommended and fantastic value for money.

I’ve stayed in my fair share of hostels, and this one was far from the top of my list. Staff at check in were very friendly and spoke perfect English. Small charge for bed linens which I thought was weird as who travels with bed sheets? I had a single room and it was very clean, bigger bed than I expected. Bathrooms were clean as well. Bed was hard and not comfortable and there is no breakfast option. Great location close to the city center. Very loud at night and quiet hours were not observed. At checkout three other guests and I had to wait fifteen minutes while the hostel staff made coffee. I was on a tight schedule to check out on time and this was very annoying. Location wise it’s the best for your money.

Hostel located near the train and bus station, around 25min by walking. A big garden and a river are close so you may practice sport or just enjoy the view. Clean rooms but you need to make your sheets by your self to prepare your bed, not quite interesting for the money you pay. Good security locker inside the room to keep your belongs safe and secure using your own card. Breakfast is excellent, a lot of choices and a delicious meal to find. The service in the reception is very slow and you may wait 30min to check in or out.

Our hotel has four individually decorated rooms. Our rooms have a size of 22 sqm-65sqm. Next to our hotel you will find our restaurant Sudpfanne German cuisine and with an attractive beer garden in the courtyard.
Ate lunch on a Saturday, wasn’t busy so service was fast. Menu was a good selection and the food was good quality and very tasty. I can’t speak of the beer garden or the hotel but our food experience in the restaurant was good, the staff was very nice and accommodating.

The guesthouse Kaiserpassage with its modern rooms is located in the heart of Karlsruhe. Just next to the main shopping mall Kaiserstraße, the KIT (University of Karlsruhe) or the Conference Center the Guesthouse provides an ideal place to stay: central, clean and convenient. The reception is opened daily from 2 pm to 7 pm. Late arrivals are possible from 7pm until midnight through our self-check-in system. You can reach us by public transportation via the tram stops Europaplatz or Herrenstraße. You will find the Guesthouse at the end of the Kaiserpassage. Please use our elevator within the glass tower to the second floor. By car you can reach us through Akademie Street (Akademiestraße) directly at Passage Square (Passagehof).Within walking distance from the guest house you will find the marvelous Castle of Karlsruhe with the Baden State Museum, the center of Karlsruhe or the city garden. In the surrounding cafes, bakeries and restaurants you will find food and good menus for every taste.
I stayed at Gästehaus Kaiserpassage for roughly a week while waiting to get an apartment in Karlsruhe. Now I'm the kind of person who dislikes hostel-style accommodation, but this place was cheap and central - and in the end I kind of liked staying there! The Gästehaus is a very typical hostel. You stay in shared rooms (I was in a 4-bed room; the first two nights in a mixed room, the rest of my stay there was a females only room available and I moved into it) with beds and other furniture (desk, TV, big lockers for your personal stuff). Bathrooms, showers (with good water pressure!) and kitchen are shared, as well as a big patio - it's a bit shame that the weather was cold and bad, as the patio would be a fantastic place to sit and maybe enjoy a few drinks with a friend! There's also a washer and dryer that the guests may use for a small fee (6 euros includes both washer and dryer). Even though the Gästehaus is located in downtown Karlsruhe and there are lots of restaurants, shops etc. closeby, it's still conveniently located so that there is no noise from the streets. It's easy to get to the hostel as it's only a couple of blocks from Europaplatz. Anything you might need, like ATM, grocery stores (such as Aldi, Lidl and Rewe), banks, etc. are either right around the corner or at Europaplatz. I strongly recommend the recently opened Cats Café which is literally a minute's walk away ;) The staff is very friendly, cleaning service comes by every day so the common areas are very well kept. Sadly while I was staying there, there were also some people who didn't really respect the kitchen rules (didn't clean up after themselves, didn't do their dishes etc.), but since most people only stay for a day or two, these people aren't too big of a problem. All in all, Gästehaus Kaiserpassage was a nice place to stay. If you don't have a problem with sharing a bedroom and other amenities (a.k.a. know how hostels work), I would very much recommend this place! I noticed that they were completely renovating one of the rooms when I left, so it might be even nicer soon! :)

We are the friendly neighborhood hostel in the heart of Stuttgart, where backpakers and business travelers can meet each other. For over 10 years, we've been offering our guests an international place where people can exchange stories over a drink or where they can spend their time in Stuttgart comfortably. Mutual respect, openness and friendliness define our small family and we are happy to welcome anyone who would like to become a part of it!
Sweet staff, cosy hostel, everything perfect for a perfectly fair price. You absolutely get what you can expect for your money! Even if you might have forgotten something you can borrow towels, toothbrush and even shampoo there. Thanks a lot :)

Impressively relaxed. Reception, dinner, breakfast - all is served from the bar on the ground floor. Excellent dinner was served, eventhough we arrived pretty late. Also the breakfast was large and tempting. However, they only served one small cup of coffee - and one small glass of orange juice with the breakfast (which was too little). Clean rooms. We shared bath room with one other room. Only two rooms per floor and one bath room per floor.

Classified as a Youth Hostel, if you don’t require in room facilities such as TV, Coffee making facilities, etc, then this place is ideal and is well positioned for Necker Park and about 25 min from the Mercedes Benz Arena. It is also close to transport links to the Airport, City centre and Museum areas. The rooms are clean and have good private bathroom facilities. Breakfast is typical European fare but has something for most people. The Wi-Fi is stated as being free in the lobby but it worked fine in our room on the 3rd floor

The staff seemed very friendly, but it took us about an hour to check in because the guy spoke so slowly. My friend was German and I didn't understand a thing they said to one another, but wow did he speak so slow. Then, I saw the same guy deal with an elderly woman and understood that he's great for that at least. The place is out of the way from the exciting part of town. It's great if you want to be near university buildings, but it's far from the station and far from the main areas. There is a shuttle, but it's infrequent on some days and the shuttle system in town doesn't make too much sense. Also there's something about not having to pay for it every time. Like they almost never check tickets. Back to the hostel though, it wasn't very clean. The beds were dirty. There were two bunk beds, even though the room was gigantic and didn't need them. There wasn't much blocking any bacteria from the toilet getting around the whole room. The free continental breakfast didn't really have much of a selection at all, and all of the cutlery and plates were dirty. The outlets in the room were like 10 feet away from the beds and right by the door. They have this thing where they only have wifi in the lobby, not in the rooms. The place definitely isn't up to speed with the times.
