So often when I go to an Italian restaurant I am disappointed with the lack of authenticity. However, in the heart of south west Germany here, we found a real treasure. The staff are Italian or of Italian descent. The food is absolutely delicious. We had various dishes with pasta as main ingredient, all top class. One of us doesn't eat cheese and avoids Italian restaurants but he was delighted with the salmon dish, and I think he's been converted! The wine was recommended by the waiter and was superb. Coffee was excellent too. Even though we were there on a Monday the restaurant was busy. That must be a good sign!

This place was had very good food and the beer was good and cold too. The walk around the garden was very nice. The food places was Thai and local type and Italian, had a bit from all of them. They all were good food.

There are stalls selling various cuisines from around the world, plus a beer kiosk and a restaurant. Only the Italian stall was open when we visited. Pizzas were ok but too small really for one person. Salads were also ok. Beer was normally priced however a deposit of 2 Euro was required for the glasses. As a beer garden this place was disappointing as all outdoor seats were covered by verandas or tree covered.....

My daughter and I visited. The lunch experience was just not nice. We were ignored for a long time. The lady was unfriendly and appeared unhappy with having customers. The food was OK, but not worth the quality of service.

Food cooked while you watch Multiple salads , Pizzas , Pasta , Lasagna and too many choices to list . Very reasonable prices for this novel way of ordering and watching food being prepared . Pasta was al dente , salad was copious and fresh . Ambience very fresh and friendly . Really enjoyed my Spaghetti Pomodoro and mixed green salad . Wife loved her Penne Arrabiatta .. Would go there again

We had an unexpected great evening at the Eckstein Restaurant-Bar. Besides the nice food and drinks, it was the atmosphere that created a perfect evening.
