We stopped by Gasthof Blautopf La Locanda for lunch today and sat outside. We were attracted to the restaurant, not just because it's close to Blautopf, but also because the food smelled really good as we were passing. My husband and I both had delicious pasta dishes and beer. Prices were very fair and the service was kind and competent. If we hadn't been pressed for time, I would have liked to have tried their dorade. As it was, my husband loved his Spaghetti Principessa, which was a delicious dish with fresh shrimp, capers, cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, algae, and spaghetti tossed with olive oil. He pretty much inhaled it. I had spaghetti with a delightful light tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese.We would definitely go back.

Nice Italian restaurant. I had Gnocchi with four different kinds of cheese. Reasonable prices, good quality. You should make a reservation.

Ganz versteckt (kennen wahrscheinlich nur Insider) tolle Pizzeria mit Spezialitäten die nicht unbedingt auf der Speisekarte stehen. Ãberraschen lassen. Antonio ist dafür immer gut. Sehr Familiär, Kinder willkommen.

We went to the restaurant on Sunday night. We were on our way to Austria from the UK and stopped overnight in Merklingen. The food was very good and the service attentive. We very much needed to chill with a few beers and were not rushed even though we were the only people left. I can certainly recommend this restaurant and hope to go back next time we drive to Austria.
