When we came the restaurant was full. Still they made some place for us somehow. The food was delicious and the service exelant. For a plate of mussels, a plate if spaghetti frutti de mare, some water and 0,5l of wine we paid 44Euro.We would go there again.Thank you !

We went to this restaurant with a visiting friend, as we all love sushi and since we had heard so much good about this place we really wanted to try it. Unfortunately the experience could not live up to our expectations. We had to wait about 45min until being served, which seemed extremely long. We also did not have the impression the service really cared about our well being and satisfaction - no effort of giving the guest a good feeling by as much as a welcoming smile. After I had almost finished my sushi - that are ok, but nothing special really - we noticed that I had in fact a menu that included a miso soup to start with - which has never been served. Since I am not a huge fan of miso soup anyway and therefore had not even noticed earlier, I planned on pointing it out to the waiter and asking if I could instead have a desert. When I did he looked surprised, told me he was sorry and asked me if I wanted to have my soup now. I explained my idea and he simply refused. No option of paying a difference or getting anything else, even cheaper. (I later learned I was not the first one in this uncomfortable situation.) Since I did not want to have the soup after the sushi I had to pay the menu entirely anyway and left without eating a desert. The entire evening - no smile from any of the staff, even though we really tried to get them to smile back at us. Alltogether I was super disappointed and wonder how with this kind of service and food that is only ok, they keep having a full restaurant. We went there partly for the good reviews on trip advisor but our experience showed us a different picture. So here we go and try correct the list of reviews a little with ours. We are not eager to return there anytime soon, hoping any of the staff read this and take it as a hint to rethink the service attitude, since right now there are quite some concurring restaurants doing a better job.

Yes, it was incredible! Both of us donât speak a drop of Greek, just arrived in Stuttgart and needed a dinner. Luckily, located just around the corner was Retsinadiko. We walked in and was told they were full (they were except one table), and as we walked out of the place, we heard Stop! Turned out the table had cancelled, and it was ours. What happened next is very rare in the restaurant world â not knowing any German or Greek, the owner and head Chef himself (âBobbyâ as we called him) came to our table and ordered for us. He explained everything in English and created custom plates. We started with a tomato cased sauce with cheese, deep fried feta cheese, fried Zucchini & Squash, Tzatziki to start with. Oh, I almost forgot the licorice flavored liquor on ice we started with â what a great way to start a meal! The first courses were amazing! Then we had skewered pork medallions and then a minced meat stuffed with cheese. To say it was excellent would be a huge understatement. This was the best meal Iâve had in a long long time! What a treat indeed. Service was over the top awesome, the atmosphere just right and you can tell this is a regular joint for many people. Its not a touristy place, itâs the real deal that has been in the family for at least 3 generations. We finished up with a cake and ice cream dish which was perfect â it hit the spot, just the right mix of sweets! If youâve never eaten here â come you will not regret it! Amazing dinner â if I could give it 6 stars I would!!!Dear John, Dear Arlis,what can I say? I woke up seeing this amazing review of our Restaurant.I just can say thank you for being my guests. We have been stayed 2 weeks in Stuttgart. During this time we ate every evening in this stunning restaurant. Every time the staff was very-very kind, they did everything to satisfy all we need.We ate very delicious food every time, without exceptions.If you are in Stuttgart, do not miss the opportunity to try this very good and authentic Italian restaurant!

Wir waren heute Abend spontan in der Taverne. Empfang war herzlich und nett. Tolle Speisen, mehrere Fischgerichte. Hatten drei Hauptgerichte und mehrere Vorspeisen. Es gab sogar Livemusik.

Dishes are perfect, taste is good, wine list also.Many traditional dishes somtimes gastronomic. It can taste like in Italy... without the sea or the sun.Service is nice and friendly.
