Aalen (German pronunciation: [ˈʔaːlən] ( listen)) is a former Free Imperial City located in the eastern part of the German state of Baden-Württemberg, about 70 kilometres (43 mi) east of Stuttgart and 48 kilometres (30 mi) north of Ulm. It is the seat of the Ostalbkreis district and is its largest town. It is also the largest town in the Ostwürttemberg region. Since 1956, Aalen has had the status of Große Kreisstadt (major district town). It is noted for its many half-timbered houses constructed from the 16th century through the 18th century.

Each visit to the restaurant is now a great taste experience for us. The combination of ingredients always excites the pallet in some of the most unexpected ways. The fish dish last night was exquisite. The lamb maultaschen and asparagus combined local menus with great flavors. The service is really top class. Always impressive when the service staff great you professionally at the door, remember the table orders and deliver the correct dish to the correct person. Typical easy stop with the family after some shopping or activity in the centre. Good for an easy decent typical Italien dish like Pizza, Pasta quickly and fresh prepared. Good price quality ratio.The atmosphere is nice and cosy may be very bussy at peak hours and the staff friendly.Negative it, may me very crowed on weekends. Reservation recommended than.

Have been visiting this Restaurant since more than 30 years. There is consistency in food and service since all these years.Personal attention by the owner of the restaurant is guaranteed. It's wonderful homecoming every time I visit.Important however is to book a table well in advance, because this restaurant is popular in the region and quickly sold out each day.
