Find out what International restaurants to try in Konstanz. Lying on picturesque Lake Constance (or Bodensee in German), Konstanz has been a city since the first century AD, later gaining prominence as a religious center and then as the site of the only bridge crossing the Rhine River. The Old Town is one of Konstanz’s main attractions and is home to the city’s famed cathedral, originally dating from the 7th century. Due to a border anomaly, Konstanz lies on Switzerland’s land mass, and the Swiss town of Kreuzlingen is just a short walk away.

This time and after a while we came for a late breakfast to the Deli. Some interior changes have been made and we felt it was for the better. Service was very friendly and quick. All food tasted great and coffees were excellent. Is this a helpful review? Then please give me a "Thumbs up Thank FrankGeisler" by clicking the button below.

Restaurant Friedrichs - time for enjoyment The hotel restaurant Friedrichs, located on the shores of the âSeerheinâ - in the basin of Lake Constance. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our kitchen: uncomplicated, refreshing and different - with the cla
Food was good, if rich (and undercooked, when it came to the lentils) but service was odd.Turned up without a reservation, shown to an unset table, which was to be expected, but which then remained unset for about 10 minutes.Offered water, but had to chase menus - first food then, when we realised, wine menu.Napkins and cutlery arrived 'just in time'. Then an extra round of napkins - presumably because someone noticed none were there, but by the time they arrived with them someone else had beaten them to it. Finished with cheese which was delicious (Chili chutney unbearably hot), but served only with a knife...seriously, a fork is required with cheese because not everyone eats every piece on fruit bread.A lack of flexibility in service seems to be the issue - and it pulls down the rating a good bit. Dear Brookieman, first of all we thank you very much for your feedback. We are very sorry that you made such a bad experience in our restaurant. We already took this opportunity to talk with our chef and restaurant manager because this does not correspond to our standard. We hope, that we are able to welcoming you again and remain in the meantime, with warm regards, Bettina Blessing, director

In the Seerestaurant of the Steigenberger Inselhotel Konstanz you are able to enjoy seasonal and light creations in an elegant ambience. Situated directly on the lakeside, the restaurant offers an exceptional choice of vegetarian dishes, fish, meat and
It is always a delight to visit this hotel, enjoy the different restaurants and the exotic views across Lake Constance. The regular restaurant by the Seeterrasse is ideal for a light meal and morning breakfast. What a marvellous breakfast buffet selection! The service outside on the terrace is as impeccable as any other - The Dominikaner Stube is excellent for dinners and after dinner the Zeppelin Bar for night caps.I am sure the location helps. More demanding guests come and Steigenberger Inselhotel matches expectations.

We did not choose the gourmet restaurant in this hotel, but assumed that the lakeside restaurant would be also good. A party of four chose different dishes from the menu. Until we complained of the lengthy wait we had to endure, no one came and apologised for the poorer service. More than one hour and 20 minutes later the main course arrived, apart from the fillet of pork that was very good, the other dishes especially one large scampi was dry and tasteless, so too was the very basic Viennese schnitzel. To make matters worse, the head waiter knocked a glass of red wine over the dress one of our guests. Until we made a series of protests there were not even any offers to pay for the dry-cleaning.In all this was a very disappointing experience, ruining our evening of celebration. There is no way we could recommend it or would we ever come back to Riva We regret bitterly not having a meal at the Steigenberger Hotel next door , which incidentally is excellent. The management's response to this calamitous evening, was to offers complimentary desserts!

Our philosophy is to make authentically crafted and tasteful food that arrives on your table within its natural taste. We consistently take a path away from ... mass production, unification of taste, convenience food, gene tinkering, agonizing animal husb
Went there as they offer a lot of glutenfree food. The portions are huge and the food tastes good. Very friendly service, will be back soon.

Yet another wonderful experience at Ophelia! We love visiting during the summer months when you can sit outside on the beautiful terrace and indulge in the incredible menu. The staff was very attentive and classic, the food was creative and inspired, and the atmosphere wonderful. What a great evening! On top of it they were able to accommodate a severe food allergy (with advanced notice) - thank you to the chefs!
